@SuperPadde123 I have to say, Windows ME is a bit underrated. With the better USB support and bonus features like Windows Movie maker, it is in some ways better than Windows 98SE, But 98SE is great as well, just making the drivers work on it is a pain in the neck....

Things you need: New Monitor, more RAM (at least another 512 MB), a 120 GB internal hard drive to add, and maybe think about installing Windows XP (I like Windows 2000 its just it not very copliant anymore.) If you do the first three thing it will run perfect.

Cool! My old one I got today (it was given to me) runs Windows ME and it came with a flat bed scanner, Im trying to get it working it has trouble starting and I dont have the correct keyboard or mouse. Im getting there though!

I installed Office 2000 because it is most compatible to Windows 2000 (and is old like my old computer). In this video you can see IE6 icon, but it have now IE5.

@Kaktus91a hehe... Na moim profilu mam pokazany stary PC (a szczególnie części) oparty na P4 Willamette. Pokazane jest tylko to, jak chodzi... Ale mniejsza o to. Ostatnio też zainstalowałem Win2k Pro SP4 i komputerek dostał kopniaka... Chodzi żwawiej niż swymi czasy na XP Pro SP2 :).

@TheMJG1 Oryginalnie na tej maszynce był Windows 98 (wówczas najnowszy Win) potem Windows Millenium, jakiś czas jechałem na Xp, ale kapke zamulał, i postawiłem na nim właśnie Windows 2000. Myśle że dlatego kompa to najlepszy OS. Celowo zaistalowalem na nim WMP 7 a nie 9, bo chcialem cos z epoki ( Win2000 ma WMP 6.4, ale jest nieciekawy). Wogóle Windows 2000 dziala szybciej na starych wehikułach niż XP, bo jest mniej naszpikowany bajerami.

I had windows 98 SE on it and run great- fast and without BSOD. If processor have less then 500 MHz, Win98 is better. But Windows 2000 is based on NT technology and i decided to install it.
