I do that and it still comes off! I use UD zero but find I actually get less runny eyeliner with the cheaper brands. In any case, it is a mess, especially at the corner of the eyes. If there is anything else I can do let me know bcs it ruins my whole day!

I love that you don't specify that you have to use mac products, some people can't afford them.. I learnt this when my friends were moaning they can't ever do tutorials.. I lend them my mac things! It's just refreshing that you explain "a matte black" so people can understand what you're using without buying a brand :D x

But sweety, what id you put on liquid liner under the water-line, and when you smile and laugh throughout the day, it smudges and looks hideous. I don't know if that happens for anyone else, but it does for me, I've tried so many things like setting it in with black eyeshadow or trying not to smile or laugh, but my boyfriend make me smile all the time. applying cream/gel eyeliner to your waterline is good too

the gel stays on for like 5 or 6 hours for me, which is really good

Yeah. The eyeliner on the waterline clogs the oil glands. That is how sties develop. A sty is basically an eyelid pimple.

But, if you really want to apply it on your waterline just make sure you wash off your eye makeup thoroughly before you go to bed, even if you are exhausted.

great tip! but if you use fluidline from MAC and apply it on your waterline, it's a gel and it dries so you don't even have to set it. i find it lasts WAY better than a pencil liner ever could.

I'm pretty sure you can still try that but Carbon from Mac is pigmented nicely and would be a good choice for what you're trying to achieve.
