you need less one hand correcting. In my experience in the wet and snow, is to let go of the steering wheel and just catch it mid slide and go from there. Worked great so far. Also worked with rallying.
@Tuskanr Yeah last event i was letting it correct itself. Don't now why i wasn't this time around. Have to only use one hand because the car would slip out of gear unless you held the shifter down. This thing was GHETTO! I appreciate the advice!
Eee....the motors are hella strong...but i would still check compression. The rear main seals seem to go out alot. The turbo isn't too hard to swap but check for smoking. If it's a manual....the transmissions suck...and the electronic overdrive is the first thing to go.
Damn dude, you are lucky, I got a Mercury Tracer wagon for 700 behind my parents' back as my first car, then it got towed just as I was going to show it to them, then I ended up spending about 1k for a car.. I wish I got a 740 turbo wagon..
I never hard it dynoed or anything...but under 200hp for sure. I would imagine at the crank i might have been making 180. When i opened the motor up the head had lots of issue and the exhaust manifold had been leaking pretty bad.
dude thats pretty impressive for your 3rd event. im sure youre a hell of a lot better. im gonna look at the rest of your videos hopefully youre a drift king by now =-P
Thanks man. Actually haven't been to an event since that one (messed up the car). I'm building a 240 wagon w/ a sbc...just haven't gotten that far yet.
u shud definitely use two hands so get that gearbox fixed.

@hellboyXsas
Yup'. The stock transmission isn't very strong. Most guys swap a t-5 in.

I see.

Im sorry dude, i didnt ment to be angry! But is there something wrong with ur car since u need to shift so often?
hellboyXsas 1 year ago
@hellboyXsas I'm not shifting. I had to to hold the shifter in gear. If i didn't the car would slip out of gear.
masterchimself 1 year ago
You stupid fuck! Why are u only using one arm when you drift?
hellboyXsas 1 year ago
@hellboyXsas Why so angry :P
Had to hold the car in gear with my other hand
