  • All of you dumbasses who claim some distant ass Native ancestry are a joke. YOU'RE NOT NATIVE. I'm LEGIT 1/8 Native American, but I consider myself 100% white because that's what I look like! I don't claim my Native ancestry because it would be retarded to since I look like any white person in Europe. You 1/16, 1/8 fucks annoy me!

  • I don't understand anything, becouse i am hungarian, but i read many about native americans, and this lifestyle, and this spirit... :'( wonderfull... Thanks for this music!

  • @IamMzBongo Pssh I bet your not even a full blooded Native American, you probably go around telling everyone that your 1/4 Cherokee. Your probably just other redneck raping Native American.

  • @JOSUE1987 yah ur right im not full blooded. I don't go bragging about my race either. My father is a redneck, and guess what my mom is Hispanic. I'm a mut, and your poit is?

  • @JOSUE1987 What is the difference between "blue blood" arrogance that comes from an English monarchy, East Indian caste system, or a YT comment?

Some of my ancestors are Cherokee and others are Rednecks- I say both with pride in their accomplishments. Are you saying some of them "raped" the others? You don't make it clear which one is the raper and which is the rapee.

  • SIGH... I love being Native American... <3

  • I truly love this song, I wish I could find ways to download it into my Ipot.. I love you all my Native Americans Brothers and Sisters. Forever Native Americans.

  • The blood of my Delaware and Cheyenne ancestors runs through my veins. :)

    May Yahweh guide everyone. :)

  • With you all in Spirit.may you grow and prosper.

     From a White Man

  • good to listen

  • To bumblebee20: u r ignorant! My ancestors were Hungarian, and put in concentration camps for not wanting to give up their land. U can hold it against the generations of today! Love and respect everyone god created!

  • I grew up wishing I were native American. I love the outdoors, I am a park ranger now to help educate and keep it safe!

  • real american.............................

  • I'm pure mexican and im proud of my aztec/mayan ancesters but I also have sooooo much respect for the native americans... great people... wish u would get back ur land... I'm glad how we somehow share the continent indigeneous blood...

  • @jose3217 you are so inocent since Aztecs and Mayans were and are native americans, that makes you a native american. America is a continent not a country. Think about it. I´m an amerindian as well, or native american or indegenous, we are one people

  • @osvaldosase ur right man mah bad lol

  • @osvaldosase you right its a continent this white people they think there are special majority of them dont really know where the name AMERICA really comes from it came from AMERICOS PROPUSO a spanish guy that name the new world America and he was not in the US but was in Latin America when he put the name to America

  • Good video. In my humble opinion ,i think that the global key for the Native Americans is organizing and keeping culture ,education network and a healthy lifestyle . They were the firsts in America, after all . And it might be good for the tribes to keep in number and not disappear (especially for the tinier ones) .Thank you to have read my comment, people.

  • I am proud to be part Native American! Though not much, a little American Indian is better than none!

  • I don't understand a word of this but the music and the vocalist move me to tears because they are so beautiful..The American Indian has always touched my heart and soul...

  • go sissipahaw of the haw river!!!!! is anyone from the sissipahaw tribe?

  • go sissipahaw of the haw river!!!!!

  • @JJSparkles, My Native Sister please accept my appology for making the mistake of thinking you were a male as I am truly sorry for my mistake in judgement! Take care of yourself and may the Great Spirit look after you and help guide you through life's journey! Take Care!

  • japanese (samurai), chinese (shoalin monks), native americans 3 best cultures known to man

  • unbelievable how many people do not know the history of what is now the United States of America...a stolen land from the natives... ffs read or learn the history.... then you may understand.. my heart goes out to all the natives ....

  • @TheCauseOfWetPanties, I feel sorry for you! Take Care!

  • @vinneh89, I don't follow your path my friend please explain?

  • @thejohnsons1987, Read your comment about the white man destroying the beauty of the land and have to beg to differ with you on that! I am half Choctaw myself! Everyone has destroyed this land of ours! People don't respect one another anymore, they dispose of their trash anywhere, people have no respect for people or any living thing anymore that is why this country is in the state it is in. Take Care!

  • @JJSparkles, I applied for a job as Police Officer with the Navajo Nation Police Dept. out of Window Rock, AZ. I would have went to work there but I couldn't convince my wife to move there when I told her we might have to buy a trailer and live in a place with no running water or electricity! I have 27 years of law enforcement experience behind me! For me it would be a dream come true! But my wife saw it in another way! Take Care my brother!

  • @jdopler, I am making the journey down the same road as you my brother! I am half Choctaw. My father was a full blood Choctaw and my mother is half Russian and half German! You know what happens when I drink Beer, Vodka, and Fire Water! LOL! I am tan with blue eyes! My dad was dark skinned with brown eyes! My Uncles all still live on the res in Oklahoma! Take Care my Native Brother!

  • @sasuketiger, I'm half Choctaw, if I met you you we need not smoke a peace pipe. You have never brought any harm to me! I always live and love the Indian way! You would find yourself as a welcome guest in my home and take of the many blessings which the Great Spirt has provided! To have respect for other people show me you have respect for yourself and your way of life! Take Care!

  • @skoggit thank you very much! to me native americans were one of the peacefullest, bravest, humble people, and maybe that is the reason why i highly respect their culture. they have very big respect for the animals, for the nature, for the good hearted persons, and for Mother Earth and i feel honored to share the same things we respect. i hope we will meet indeed one day. i wish you the best as well!

  • @JJSparkles, I agree with you brother! I am half Choctaw and have spent 27 years of my life helping my fellow man! As I am a Deputy Sheriff! I have made the trip on the "Trail of Tears" many times! I have touched many a peoples lives and always treated everyone even those I arrest with respect! I live and love the Indian way! That to me is the only way to live! When I pass I hope the Great Spirit will look down and see all the good things I have done! Take Care my Naive Brother!

  • @skoggit , I am a Native lady. LOL! You keep calling me brother, just call me sister instead. I know, with these usernames, it is hard to tell sometime. Thought I let you know. Too bad your wife didn't want to move to the rez' in support of a great job with the tribal police. I would have, for you, if you were my husband. LOL! Well, good luck and thanks for your respectful thoughts. Take care and May the Great Spirit bless you and your family.

  • wishing that we all could learn that people here are from all walks of life and that while what had happened to our Native American brothers and sisters has happened to some of our ancestors as well .. some nearly wiped out and off the Mother Earth .. we are all one ....

  • I am 100% Puerto rican but I love native Americans I feel so bad for what the white ppl did n the diseases they brought

  • i am Dine' and its a shame that the white people always blame us for their mistakes and it is not right in my eye's we should have a voice in it also. but one day mother earth will reclaim us and then we will know were we will be...

  • Beautiful music, it puts my heart to rest. When I hear this song, and others like it, I feel relaxed and at ease with Mother Earth, at ease with myself. I'm not Native American myself, physically, but my soul is, and that's what counts... At least to me it does..

  • Belissima música!

    I love it...beautiful

    Wie schön!

  • Wonderfull pics! I think photos like these are very important to be shown and remembered :)

I have cherokee running through my blood(my great great uncle, grandma, and grandpa on my dads side and on my moms side also. Where my mom used to live there's an native amrican head carved from a mountain and this april i'm going to cherokee, NC to visit my people so my natives keep flying free.

  • i to can understand the injustice that has been done yet i have come to a realization .... to truly be free from binds that tie one must forgive as being taught growing up to we can no longer fight with each other or even with those whom try to bind us to a life style unlike what we know....i may not be full blooded but i do understand and completely relate to these feelings.... i will forever let my spirit guides lead me down the path of true forgiveness .... without hold taint in my heart.....

  • From Australia, grew up wit a love for the indian people, ther culture,i dont think u realise how how other countires and their people actually look to you the indian nation, from over here!imbrace your culture as much as you can and beproud of it.i am and im not an indian and without any heritage, your people stood against imposible ods thruout such trechory and still stood together thru evrythng accomplishing obviously more than you know today if you do not realise how precious your nation is..

  • I Love everything about Native American Indians, what special natural people. This is my favourite piece of music EVER! It just beat Michael Jackson Will You Be There :)

This tune literally uplifts your soul and makes you realise about the greatness of our earth. I LOVE IT!

  • We are divided and conquered. We cant be free before all is one.its the laws of nature. Yet even ppl here are obsessed with bloodlines. The tools of power proves itself again... Rly sound like Sami chanting/joik btw, cool.

  • This was our land before Europeans tainted it. It was ours before anyone knew about it. This is our land and people need to respect that. This is where we first began and this land, this country was ours and will always be.

  • The most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. This song sends me home to my soul. Thank you. Love to you always.

  • The most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. This song sends me home to my soul. Thank you. Love to you always.

  • Very nice.

  • Hello first time that i heard the native American music was in a street in London. it is awesome man i feel really close to it.

i hope peace and best for them

    love from Iran.

  • this iz a great song. i myself am white but i have native american in me also. i am Wintu. im proud 2 b part native american. myself i do not believe n raceizm, yet i do not judge otherz beliefs n it. thiz music iz very wonderful and should b appreciated by wat it stands for, and that is belief. sadly, rivalry between others exists, from recent events and past events. ppl should learn more about how much my native ppl and know what theyv done for thiz world.

  • At times I wish I could shout --don't assume I am white!

My german farmer ancestors came early for a bunch of germans (most immigrated later) and married native american women from the reservations in the ohio territory at that time. I know little about them. I got my mother's coloring so people always assume I am totally white. Assumptions are negative.

  • @gkseeton Funny, Iv got the same prob. My fathers side is mostly German (some married to women from the Comanche tribe and Crow) and my mothers side is full Apache. I have both Native American and German features but people assume im just white (or the occasional "sunburn white dude" cause my tan is dark red). Id rather be seen as an Native American than a German any day!

  • Egy kis nyugalom

  • @SuperKare123 Please don't blame 'white people'. I myself am a 'white person' but I do not treat others of different races differently than I would treat my own brother. I am very sorry. I feel horrible and ashamed for what my ancestors did to yours; they shouldn't have treated the native population in such a way. They were ignorant, arrogant, and stupid. However, we are a different people today. We hope to earn forgiveness, to live in peace with the Native Americans and to learn from them, too.

  • we were so wrong to treat them like vermon and i feel ashamed to know that the same goverment that did all that stuff to them is STILL in power today

  • good song the REAL americans i hope will forever live on

  • The Freemasons on the. Totem?

  • This song is really touches my heart and to all my Native brothers and sisters out there never 4get who u r & where u come from! Give Indians their rights back! <3

  • i love this song.

  • People of EARTH unite as one1 !

  • Merry christmas and a happy new year 2011.

  • God made all races beautiful! Its up to the individuals of all races whoever they might be to live for God Almighty or themselves

  • This song is in Navajo. In short he is chanting and singing, "Our life the way it was, give it back to me. My people, give them back to me." In general, I think he is singing about the old way of the Native people that was taken away. Our language, our traditions, our culture that needs to be restored. I am Navajo and I listened to it several times to really know what he is singing about. I hope this helps.

  • So deep and inspiritave

  • this song is so heart warming it make's you realise that peace is so easy to achieve if you unite into one

  • good song , i have a feeling it has to do with God , i wish someone will tell me what the word yeha- noha means ,, if possible i like to know the translation of the words in this song. thx

i support the american indians and their right to exist on their land ,

  • @kazuza9 Wishes of Happiness and Prosperity

  • I have very fond memories of this song. I remember I used to always hear it at the local movie theater growing up. The only thing they played was this, Clocks, and Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)

  • nice song, does anyone know what language this is and/or can translate?

  • @Calebforreal google say,s its navajo

  • @ghanaholland ok, thanks

  • I agree with you. Any type of contribution to our Mother earth is what makes a difference. I usually pick up trash where ever I go, and I am planning on taking my knowledge back to my community. There is so much destruction......it is so sad. I am tired of the blame game, instead I do anything and everything I can to contribute myself...................................

  • @JJSparkles1 and thats all u can do bro ur a good example

  • what is done is done our great father creator will come soon

  • Wake up my Native people! Injustice has been done, but why do we still continue to fight amongst ourselves. Instead of uniting, we turn our backs on our own kind. There's work to be done starting with us. Let's make that change! Let's lend a hand to those in need in our community; alcohol abuse, jealousy, greed, and other demons that destroys our hearts. Don't blame anymore, do something about it. I'm full blooded Dine' (Navajo). Are you with me?

  • @JJSparkles1 I so agree with you on that!! I have lots of Cherokee,Blackfoot,Apache in my veins! My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee!! But Im so with you big time! Everything you said is the Great Creators Truth!!

  • @JJSparkles1 --->Very True!

  • @JJSparkles1 im with you

  • @JJSparkles1 Are you around Arizona? I was lucky to stay with a Navajo family during a week of meetings and stuff. Really nice people and it opened my eyes to the real american not americanism which has killed my country and the world we share.

  • @JJSparkles1 Of course!

  • @JJSparkles1 there is no diffrents between people all nations...We will soon understand it!!!The time is come)))

  • @JJSparkles1 the white man does not allow anyone to unite . from Africa to Arabia to the natives in america and Australia but soon the empire will fall and we will have peace and unity.

  • @JJSparkles1 i am XD even tho i dont think im a native american ^^ your culture should live on and it is very beautiful culture.

  • @JJSparkles1 hey mate i am aboriginal and boy do it hear you i wish my ppl would wake up and see if we united we would be strong a force to be reckoned with but we are to drunk uneducated and to beatin down to rise up but one day things will change with my generations children things are looking better head high my native friend we cant stay in the mud forever much love cell

  • When I get this hear this feeling I don't know how to describe its calm but excited happiness.

  • i wish we could change the past

  • @tinaeger1 Wish not to change the past. For if mistakes were never made, then people would never learn what is right.

  • i wish we could change te past

  • Everywhere I go, I see people saying that they want to return to the roots of life. Life with mother earth as an importance! With all of the people willing, surely we can do this. The governments don't want to do this...I think a majority of the people might want to...we need to carry this movement further...with passion...with burning fire in our eyes, and show the people we really mean this.

  • @RazrBlayde an ideal that sounds nice on paper but has not real practical reality. with some 6 billion people living on the planet today, without the modern technology used in agriculture, the equipment that is required for it would make sustaining such a population impossible based on some kind of egalitarian principles. unless of course the sacrifice of human lives to return to it is acceptable? which person do we deem worthy to sacrifice? mine, yours, your neighbors, or some far away stranger

  • nice love the music

  • Hello.

  • I had thought enigma did this song?

  • As long as humans exist we`ll destroy the world and disrespect the animals but the day will come the earth fight back

  • its time to go back to our roots...

  • @Coldakin

It has always been time to move forward.and never to have forgotten (all of) our roots... the knowledge brought forward and the wisdom sent with it.

Shame serves well only with Truth and a change in direction, intention.

    Meanwhile... back at the farm....

For Jazz o' philes: Check out Jim Pepper's "Whitchi tai to" for something Native (Creek & Kaw) and upbeat.

    Love the list available here.

  • Song of my childhood :)

  • The world is our mother we should respect her for she is not always going to be there for us if we hurt her then the native pride in me will feel pain and sorrow for what we have done to her, so we should all take responsibility to restore our world for her prime health

  • Eventually in the future maybe....

  • looking through all these comments and it just shows that humanity can have its best moments or affection and then it has its moments of greed and hate, which makes the human race a virus for the world and soon i reckon we will be back to the ways of old soon, if not that we will be more civilised and not just a few but a lot more people will be more understanding and will be taught to look after our earth as well as ourselves :) best of luck humanity "with power comes great responsibility"

  • In only Great disaster most find out how sacred our mother is we not only need Her She needs us. Ive always have taken care of our mother the best I can IT saddens me to see oil spills by Iggnorant people Wrecking our mother sooner or later at the rate we are going she wont be here we must change our way of thinking stop driving every where walk as My OUR ancestors did cleean up after ourselves if we can restore our planet back to what it yas atleast 50 years ago there would be less sickness

  • This song is so moving & breath taking. Thank you for sharing this.

Its a down right shame what we did to the Natives. Those people who took their land, lives at will stand before God one day and have to answer for their despicable actions!

  • thats my very favourite song from all native american music :)

    I just love indians

  • @2:05, why is there a Masonic symbol in that totem pole?

  • I'm not native american, but I am willing to respect other's ways despite their differences!

The songs of the native americans touches me deeply

  • Wake up and smell the coffee. This land could NOT support the current numbers living here in the U.S. using the farming methods of past eras or that of the native americans. I too have Native American heritage and what I see in the past actions of the "white man" is/was wrong. But ask yourself this, do you suppose that there was constant peace amongst the Native American Tribes? I do not think so. It was a constant shifting and change as better lands and hunting areas were fought over.

  • i may be part of the white man, but my native spirit is stong. I found out before my father passed on the great warrors in the heavens that i'm 1/4th shaman cherokee and 1/4th southern lenne neppe and i'm more proud of my heratige now more than ever. I want peace and our land back to whom it belongs to. The white man has destroyed the beauty of the land . My given native name is Wildspirit

  • i loveit thx :*
