assault is called "estilo" in Brazil too. Then we can say they are fighting savate assault or savate estilo (estile in English.

Insavate Assault fighters cannot KO each other, and the technique and the accuracy of movements are taken in consideration.

If you want to see agressiveness,and "real fights" (call as you want), look for "savate combat" .. "Savate combat" is the kind of savate that knocking out and hitting strongly is allowed. Then, please, don't tell anything about things u don't know

Of course, they are not kicking because they are not allowed to do so. there is 2 kind of compétition in french boxing:

- Assaut:the video you are watching. KO is forbidden and boxer must control their kick

- Combat:KO is allowed. obviously, boxer can use their strenght

If you like violence, just have a look to a combat...

in the description, as far as styles go, Savate is actually quite similar to WTF style Tae Kwon Do, however, both arts retain stylistic differences.

actually m8, if one of them was fighting an ordinary person, tht guy would be knocked out right away. it is becausae they are both so damn good, tht they are able to not necessarily hit when throwing every kick or punch- they can defend and avoid- trust me m8 they are brilliant, all techniques are needed for this!

Nice comments from Rubberduck. I can verify that Reda Karoum is the current(2006-2007) World Assaut Champion at Savate, how can I be sure ? Coz he beat my fighter Tony Crossman in the finals. He is a very worthy Champion and to my knowledge he has nothing to do with the TKD people.

Whats with TKD people? You try to get props to your art every opportunity. Fall-Telemaque and Reda Karoum are Savateurs. TKD does not have monopoly to fancy kicking. Oh, and BTW, that´s Assaut aka light-contact match. So well, duh, they use their legs more to rake points. See Fall-Telemaque vs Sarr full-contact fight, so you see the difference.
