  • I had this on 7 inch. Mind you, I always had 7 inches for Theresa ;-)

  • Van Day, what a complete prat.

  • great production..love it

  • My all time worst favourite

  • Great Music!

  • David Van Day had his piles sorted in our local doctors surgery. Not sure if he had them in this video, but it would explain why she was with someone else in the moonlight.

  • @pinkanglia That is the best and funniest comment I have seen on any video in ages. Mind you I'm trying to be very disapproving of the fact that if what you are saying is correct you have severely breached confidentiality. :D

  • This is terrible.

  • My favourite song by Dollar. Thereze Bazar looks gorgeous in this video, and David Van Day sure broke a lot of young girls' hearts. :)

  • @dariowestern

Yes, indeed; Mr van Day & Miss Bazaar were a couple of EXCEPTIONALLY good-looking people, back in the late 1970's. When one looks back at the pop music and stars of that era now - more than 30 years on - it really does surprise me that van Day was not an even bigger 'teenybopper idol' than he actually was. 'Lookswise' he was in the same league as Marc Bolan, David Cassidy and Donny Osmond - who, of course, had all been massive teenybopper idols earlier on in the decade.

  • Visit youdollar,com

  • The guy looks like a cross between Andy Gibb and Leif Garrett, lol.

  • WHO WAS THE DRUMMER?

  • who knew jungle David could sing?.The bird is hot!

  • cant hear her at all!lol

  • muito bom esse balanço dos anos 70 show!!!!!

  • e

es la mejor cancion que he escuchado en toda mi vida carmen escalante

  • Would have been more successful if they had not gotten involved with each other

There was a strong Market at the time for 'available'pop stars

  • ..Yes I remember Dollar very well on a Thurs nights on Top of the Pops, I was more into Blondie, Boomtown Rats, and Gary Numan and Abba at the time. My pocket money did not go far enough in those days to buy the song, Lament!

  • feliz año 2011 desde Chile

  • it's just great to think this was post-punk. We were in the alternative pop era, but good production always shines.

  • bring back the good old days of top music not like todays poop

  • oh those hair extentions, lovely song though

  • ballad classic 80's ...

  • Classic Dollar.......bubble-gum pop

  • When I was at School, all the precocious 10/11 year olds were having snogging contests in the cloakrooms, me being a tomboy girl with Tourette's Syndrome was never included in this and the girls used to sing "Who were you with in the moonlightr?" Ive so missed out on life.

  • he was such a ride back then.I think they were together

  • I think he was giving her one...hence I never liked her but my god he was a dish...still is

  • You've gotta laugh at Therese's hair and David's suit in this video.

  • This song has exactly the same impact on me today that ti did in 1979-....I love the music of 1979 and 1980 some really amazing music was released....

  • What a DOLL AH !!!!!

  • Dollar made some good tunes back in the late '70's just like this one.

  • Ôoooooo tempo bom!!! embalou muitas e muitas festinhas....qta saudades!!!

  • Muito legal essa música... Embalou algumas festinhas nos sábados à noite!!!

  • I want to live in the 80's. =(

Im 17 and I love this song :D

  • @AxelZaore it was 70s

  • @AxelZaore i did live through the eighties, its not what its cracked up to be

  • she was beautiful

  • She's a sexy little mover!!!

  • It says a lot about todays music when people like me would rather watch naff cheesey retro music than go looking for todays music 'artistes'

  • OMG Marty mcfly where is your time machine...i need to back in the late 70s early 80s and im only 16

  • I've got a touch of the Salmon and Prawn watching this

  • AMAZING MEMORIES

  • The best songs are from years 60-80 Rincon

  • you dont women like her no more, sing or no sing.

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't she a sexy little mover

  • An Instant all time Classic

  • This song reminds me of my last year at Primary School, all the girls at my School used to sing this, cos they all had a snog and I didn't until 1989. Tragic.

  • wow,, you don't see women like her no more..you really don't..

  • Longa longa longa time ago, before the rain, before the snow, I was dragged screaming to see Dollar at Baileys at Watford. I remember having to wear a tie to get in and I never wear ties. And fek me, they were good. Then I listened to their records and hell, I liked them. Somebody call the good taste police out on me, lol Did you know both of them are only 4' 10" tall?

  • What a joke, she moves her mouth but can anyone else actually hear any female vocals on this ? All said and done they did make good pop records

  • I'm a celebrity (ahem burger van guy) get me outta here!!

  • Lovely song!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Heaven

  • Dollar simply made perfect pop records.

  • que buenisima rola me encanta me hace recordar mi epoca de adolecente norita

  • a mi tambien alla por los primeros 80s

  • my favorite song! =)

  • i was looking for this song more than 3 years and i finally found it..it´s one of the most beautiful song ever.. thanks for uploading this magical song

  • Just to add to previous post,David van Day was a complete w**ker....but yes, they were nice catchy tunes and she was a babe, but he'd never have survived a shift at OCH though..

  • Ah,this brings me back to parties at Oldchurch Hospital Social Club(aka,The Mortuary Arms as it was next to,yeah guess what). You'd often finish a busy shift on 12 A and head for a pint in the club and put this on the dukebox and hope you'd meet a fellow nurse you had an eye on...a tough spot for a young lad of 20...(and it would be a female nurse,eejit.).

  • ONE WORD ...

    COOL !

  • What a catchy happy feel good song. Loved it when it first came out and still do. Why cant modern songs be like this. After all no guns drugs home boys or drive by shootings were required to make this video unlike a lot of the modern stuff is based around. This was when it was about the songs not the pop stars egos or bank accounts. Great video great times. Miss them all the time..

  • @AUTORECOVERYUK With a few exceptions, pop music has ALWAYS been about stars'egos and making money. Even in the 1930s, money was of prime importance. (Let's face it Frank Sinatra really couldn't sing THAT well, but his face sold a lot of records.)

  • @AUTORECOVERYUK Feel good song? Haha it doesnt feel good for the poor bloke who is writing and singing about being cheated on..

  • @vcat10 A feel good song means its a song that sticks in your head which you cant help whistling or singing along to.A song that makes you smile every time you hear it. After all its a song not real life.

  • as a 15 year old lad , teressa bazzar was the girl on my bedroonm wall , fancied her rotten and wanted to marry her - oh well maybe in my next life!!!

  • Thereza lived up my way at one stage (Elstree), remember being as jealous as hell when one of my mates and his family went to dinner with her.

  • totally agree; she was the hottest girl in pop at her time (Claire Grogan being another one)... shame she didn't get the promotion she deserved, totally fit!

  • @iveco321 did you knock a few out over her?

  • @19Tharg76 no need , i was fortunate to have girlfriends from the age of 14 , got them to do it instead!

  • que buena rola apero como tarde en encontrarla

  • I havent heard any of Dollar songs on the radio recently. You spotted this playing on r2 which is good. I didnt realise J Ross of all people would play this song.

  • Beautiful song !!!!

  • I read Thereza is divorced now and still lives in Australia was upset that she wasnt informed David was in the jungle.

  • Please let me know if anyone in this section meet David and Thereas and what they were like thanks.

  • I live in Brighton, not far from DVD and have met him, very briefly, a few times. I found him to be charming if a bit nuts - but in a good way!

  • I hope this will work now let got back to the 70s and Nicola didnt exsist in this world.

  • Great song, remind my youth and my first litlle girlfriend

  • I still cant help watching this Im a Mad or just obseessed.

  • Great song by Dollar. One of my favourites

  • Was Nicola unfair with the chocolate cookie

for David and kept it for Simon from Blue?

Answers on a postcard or on comments on You Tube.

  • Davis should have won he was the most entertaining and sexiest!xx

  • Agree with your ideas, he was great and true. Lovely daughters also..R

  • Dollar's best track, such polished pop-quality...

  • I love the 80s. Makes me want to wank chung.

  • DVD will have the last laugh on the bitch. She's out and he's going to win. He's a pain in the arse but an honest and funny one, and has made this series very watchable. Fair play to DVD.

  • David to win. How can that bitch say she never heard of Mirror Mirror? It was a big hit.

  • David to win in the jungle, so glad Nicola has gone she is a bullying bitch, fancy not sharing a chocolate brownie so so sad.

  • I agree with everyone who says that David is hugely entertaining in the jungle. he deserves to win. As for tart with no heart Nicola- she's an evil piece of work.

Let's not forget she deliberately left a screw in David's meal. it might be the only screw he'll ever get from her, but, seriously, she needs to go!!!!

  • This is such a class song. I thought so back then and almost 30 years on I realise that I was a 16 year old with good judgement!!

  • I thought it was a classic at the age of 9!!

  • I also want David to win i love it that he upsets them all. Who does that fake ugly Nicola think she is. Also Simon wants a smack in the gob. Everyone vote David to win.

  • I was never a big fan of DVD but now that he's in the jungle I want him to win. He's the most entertaining celeb in the show. Also has Simon from Blue been lobotomized?

  • We all know who David was with in the moonlight. Timmy Mallett!!!

  • David Van Day is now on British TV I'M A CELEBRITY GET ME OUT OF HERE( Minus his burger van day)

  • Yes, and let's face it, he's the only one with an ounce of personality. The rest of them in the jungle are just a waste of space especially moaners Dani Behr and Nicola Mclean. Most miserable bunch ever in the jungle.

  • since today...Oct. 26th, this is our song...aww...it's great to be in love!

  • antena1

  • does david van day still have his burger

van not that im bothered like anyone know what he is up to now

  • No - he's now back on the cabaret circuit and hilariously stood as a Conservative for a seat in East Brighton. He lost!

  • cheers mate did like this song and loves got a hold on me but thats it thereze is lovely liked her red hair she suited it

  • Thereze Bazar was stunning, that elfin look makes it impossible to pull your eyes away from her. She was born too early, she could have had Kylie's fame!

  • My God am I this old this takes me back to my School days & yes I have the CD's

  • music is a calender of your life and i have been just brought back 30yrs in one song ..great tune

  • That's true!!! I can hear a song, and I can go back to that moment in time, and know exactly where I was, the season...usually it's chart position almost. I can even go back to when I was just 16 months old....something that used to freak a few old work mates...my age now..46...

  • "Who Were You With In The Moonlight" was Dollar's 2nd hit. It peaked at #14 on the UK charts in June 1979.

  • THAT's WHAT I CALL MUSIC THE BEST OF THE BEST

  • The best song

  • nice song and great to hear it again, did hear tho thereza has m s and does live in austrailia
