  • Great point, AMERICANS, died from lack of water after Katrina, Disgraceful.

The Feds allowed this to happen in the USA. CRIMINAL.

GEE, WHO'S on DANCING WITH THE STARS, TONITE. INSANITY.

  • Zionist flip-flopper

  • i have only ever seen the pauls call for non-interventionism and free trade. trade with all end to aid neutrality is what i have seen

  • Stop asking the arsonist for the hose, America.

  • and he didnt even mention the illegal immigrants

  • he's just not the same as his dad

  • This seems a bit biased. Firstly, the problem is not really with Medicare patients. They are happy with their program. So you're concentrating on the wrong part of the problem there. Second, comparing Katrina to healthcare is stupid, Katrina was an unforeseen disaster that depended on rapid response to changing situations. We are not talking about the same type of problem with healthcare.

  • May Ron and Rand Paul style republicans take over the Republican Party.

  • We got the nails for the political coffins all we need now is some common sense.

Since this is such a comprehensive and in-depth look into the healthcare debate I will have to post this to my Facebook for a couple days in a row.

    Thanks Rand!!

  • Pelosi-care:

    Sustainability: same as Social Security

Efficiency: same as the Post Office

Bedside Manner: same as the IRS

    What's not to like?

  • Sounds like a Mastercard commercial, but you've got excellent points.

  • exactly

  • Paul/Paul 2012! lol

  • I bet Ron Paul is a proud daddy :P

  • lol yeah

  • If modern civilisation had instituted public healthcare 200 years ago, we'd likely still have, "free leeches for all", in 2009, instead of MRIs and LASIK.

And even then it's doubtful that the government could farm leeches worth a damn, so you'd have, "leech rationing".

I mean, does anyone seriously believe that if we'd decided in 1990 that cell phones were a "human right", the average person would now be walking around with an iPhone?

Rationed, "house-bricks for all", more likely.

  • Thank you, and good comment.

  • Screw Kentucky....when is this guy running for President!

  • @pythos82

NO! I'm in Kentucky and I'm working my butt off to get Rand elected as our next senator! We get him first!

  • I can't wait till this guy is in the Senate.

  • Venus Project is an awful idea, and solves nothing.

  • @Toobe ....Lately a lot of new people seem to get infected with the Venus Virus. Holiday season has just finished, people are still a bit lazy and have a lot of time on their hands for things like - Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist ist just stuffed with disinformation, it takes approximately 1 minute to find that out if you just go check one of their supposed "factual" statements. If people would do their research they'd find that Venus = Lucifer and that the Venus project is sponsored by LucisTrust.

  • The stuff they propose is straight from the Eugenicist corner, mixed with Fabian Socialist utopianism.

    In one sentence:

It's never gonna happen and its a big hoax to deceive all the godless idiots out there who so far have been too lazy to do any proper research.

  • greatcomment ..

controlled eugenics ..sure as hell !

  • Venus project is hard core interventionism repacked by a bunch of maniacs obsessed with bashing religion. And I'm not saying government controlled religions are good, but zeitgeist people are complete lunatics.

  • Why are they lunatics?

  • Because they think machines can solve all the problems, they believe there's no good or evil (just corrupted behavior and they reject what's natural), sooner or later they try to blame religions for everything etc. besides if you check out zeitgeist's sources it's full of cooks like Jordan Maxwell (claims to be sent by space alien pleiadans to save the Earth) Acharya S (Roman masons created Jesus), Gerald Massey (he thought he was a druid) and many others.

    /user/economicsinonelesson

  • Machine CAN solve most, but not all, practical problems - what's wrong with that belief?

Well, what is evil then if it is not corrupted behaviour, and what's natural that they reject?

Also, you may want to consider the fact that just because a person has a deluded belief, does not make their OTHER works, beliefs and opinions deluded. You have to take every argument for its own merits, aye? ;)

  • Well, it actually does. Cos for example maxwell says he does everything according to what he thinks those space aliens tell him to.

"Machine CAN solve most, but not all, practical problems - what's wrong with that belief?" - They mix that with collectivism, social engineering etc. For example PJ openly says we should set up reeducation centers, we shouldn't have any purchase power, shouldn't be able to have guns and the list goes on. That's exactly what commies used to tell ppl before 1989.

  • Clearly, then, Maxwell need to come up with evidence for the existence of said space aliens before we stop regarding him as a nutter. Regardless all that, however, does not by default invalidate his other claims. Which Maxwell claim is quoted by Zeitgeist, btw?

That is a plan for the F u t u r e. We cannot change society overnight; does Zeitgeist ever state that? It just outlines how society could work better with a better collective mindset. Not how to change society overnight.

    Hit back

  • How so, and why not?

I'm not saying you're wrong, I just want an argument to support your opinion

  • Excellent points, especially about how parasitical insurance companies feed bettween patients and their health care.

  • Monopoly is a bad thing, whether the govt runs is or a corporation.

A monopoly in health care would make us all worse off.

  • finally, the campaign for liberty is trying to get away from its one man show that is ron paul.

  • Gimme a break. Repeat after me: this diamond is too big, take it back. Haha - there's no such thing as too much Ron Paul.

  • Unless you're completely insane and you don't like him.

  • I can see Rand Paul winning in Kentucky, people are desperate for some common sense.

  • Thanks for the good video.

  • Rand, I completely agree with you on everything you said. Theres only one problem. Americans these days want immediate change. Letting the free-markets take it's course will take a while for the positive change to occur. You, me and everyone else commenting on this video are preaching what you're saying, but realistically, I don't think we can get this to happen. Americans always want instant change, which is why we've always had constant government intervention. It's really quite sad.

  • A global fiat currency collapse is just waiting to happen. I opted out of the Western Modern Medicine scam when I became a raw vegan. The third option that no one talks about is learning how to be healthy & avoid the doctor altogether. Emergency care is great like after a car accident, but for day to day health, the patient is the best doctor that they will ever have. As long as buying Govt healthcare is not mandatory, I'll opt out.

  • Rand Paul for US Senate in 2010!

  • Thank you

  • Rand Paul 2010

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Everyone please check out this video link. It shows in very plain facts, step by step, why the health care industry is so expensive. government intervention at its best. Or u can be like GlockNinja several comments below me and choose denial and retardation as a means of explanation

  • sorry this is the link

    watch?v=Nt0tKl0J-S4

  • I have nothing against Ron Paul, but his son Rand seems a little more qualified to talk as a doctor, considering he's an optometrist and all. Paul is just an OBGYN, one of the lesser doctors in the field. All he really does is check women's pussies and delivers babies. Not that hard if you study up in medical school, really.

But the eye is pretty complex, and surgery is even harder.

  • Rand, please have some local video production guys come by and help you with the lighting, camera and sound for these videos. It's very important to getting your message across.

  • Some profiteering bastard one day invented insurance on health, car, house, and life...and ever since its been all about the middle man. Bring it back to the patient and the doctor. Get rid of insurance companies. Make Medicare for everybody. I rather pay uncle sam $150 a pay than pay Blu Cross $300 a pay any day. At least I can control the cost via vote power. Insurance companies stick it to you and if you don't like it, you can go pound sand or go to a HMO. Screw that.

  • F@uk you glock, government out of my life.

  • I don't want government in my life either. But you rather pay triple the amount to private insurance companies? Hatred for one thing blinds you into seeking refuge into the wombs of stupidity. its obvious your anger towards my views equates you to nothing more than a emotional jack in the box. Get a brain and we can talk. Government is George Washington, it is America,....without it we would be tribes. Go live in a Mountain in Afghanistan or Somalia if you don't want government.

  • Insurance companies aren't the problem communist and statist are. Let the free market reign and prices will fall. GW was for limited government he is turning in his grave now. Eliminate Medicare and prices will fall. why the f@ck am I debating with a dumb ass, give me your address in Houston and we can debate in person bitch.

  • The did free market make GM cars cost less or even better? Did free market decrease health insurance costs over the past 20 years or increase it higher than the rate of inflation?

  • Nope, Honda, Toyota, Ford is better that is why GM should fail. Medicare and trial lawyers are the problem with healthcare. But once again let meet in person and debate coward.

  • Study up. Government started intervening in the health industry about 50 years ago. Since then costs have skyrocketed because they already control almost 50% of the industry. Price fixing eliminates competition and causes scarcity, both of which raise costs. The free market would have bankrupted GM, instead they got money from the productive sector of society to continue losing.

  • You should have spelled out George Washington (a real patriot) so that the libs don't think you're talking about that traitor GW Bush.

  • Hmmm... The problem with insurance isn't the existence of it but the mandates and regulations government creates. Insurance can be a good thing, but only if you want it. Insurance is supposed to cover you in case of an accident or major catastrophe.

Like Life Insurance, it can be a good thing if you want to leave your loved ones something or not leave them debt if something happens to you.

The problem with things like Health Insurance is once government gets involved everything goes to hell.

  • I think a little mandate and regulation should have been stepped up when asprin started to cost $30 a dose in hospitals and Unions and Auto Executives raped the Automobile industry. Don't criticize government for corporate corruption and greed. Please. Enough is enough.

  • The problem here is that you believe the rise in cost has nothing to do with the government when it is the mandates and the regulations that precisely cause the problem.

If you listened to what Rand Paul said you should be able to reason that the price of Aspirin should be falling and competitive, just like technology. Two of the largest fields where prices are constantly rising are health care and education. They are also where a lot of government intervention is.

    Coincidence or Correlation?

  • Ron Paul wants an ideal world where everybody works and everybody can afford whatever in life through savings and earnings. Cost of Asprin should have no reason to come down in price because like water, it should already be the cheapest thing on the market. But because of the fact that Hospitals have to make money for taking care of uninsured patients, they have to charge $30 for one asprin.

  • The government is what causes those raises in cost. Unions cause government granted monopolies on labor markets.

  • If you actually look at the data, Insurance has one of the lowest profit margins. High costs are thanks to government intervention.

  • You have to be realistic. Either be cold enough to say that if you don't have health insurance, your life will not be saved or provide everybody with health coverage. We are just dicking around. The way the system is set and the way it is run are two different things. Everybody gets emergency care but not everybody pays for it. Make everybody pay for it by collecting it through sales tax and get rid of the insurance companies who eat up too much of the money.

  • Health care has been runned by Big pharma and Corporations.

If someone on the street does not have a job, and he or she gets hit by a car and no insurance.

That person will either get limited care , or Huge Bills to that person.

Hospitals and Insurance companies are Big businesses.

I say all people needs universal health care and not think about money and profit what so ever.

The needs of the people need to be the priority not the needs for profit.

  • Absolutely not. Capitalism works as it weeds out bad thinking and bad products.

  • Until then we will never learn our Lesson until we start seeing the source of problems.

Money is an energy of exchange, but it causes fear and scarcity of products and services.

You always see ads saying come on down to buy this item before supplies last.

The Drug Industry is the same way

We are being runned by big Corporations, bankers, oil companies, and the military complex, Not just the government.

  • Money does not cause scarcity.

  • Capitalism works only if one works and earns a living. But in this society or any other, we as a society must be accountable for those who cannot work, will not work, or is unqualified to work. And when an Asprin began costing $30 a dose in the hospitals, somebody should have done something about the system right away.

  • Your missing Technological Unemployment for jobs. While machines and robots are taking over more jobs than jobs that are being Created.

IT is happening so much more faster than we all realize.

It is not the old 20th century anymore, it is the 21st century, things are changing rapidly and if we don't rethink our way of living today then our future is very bleak.

Either we get rid of all technology and go back to the basic horse and buggy like the amish, or we abolish money all together.

  • Right now people are seeing the system fail, big government or not, the old system cannot sustain it's self and once the old capitalism system really begins to collapse on a massive scale, then people will understand we have to try something different.

Like the Elevator man got replaced by technology. Like the phone operator got phased out, and many other jobs being phased out by Automation and technology.

  • WE have to back to understanding Nature and how Nature is inter connected with us.

That is a huge start for change.

Please check out the Venus Project which is getting hot around the world, except our country yet.

Education is a huge key, as well as understanding.

If we can't understand the problems in Capitalism then change will never come.

  • Take College for an Example it is hard to actually get a good college education but once students graduate they are really far in Debt and can't pay back they're school loans.

And that's only if you get accepted into the School you want to go to.

We are Very Extremely limited in this Capitalistic system it's unbelievable.

  • I paid my way through collage working in the oil field. You are only limited by your own mind.

  • Nobodies forcing you to live in a capitalist society, you have other options, capitalism is just the economic system of the US.

  • See you got the Idea. form the Venus Project, live within the Venus Project & when it fails at least you'll have Capitalism to fall back on. Maybe you can get some pointers from the Free state project.

  • I have a bullet for all communist.

  • I"m not a communist, Because in Communism there is still Money.

All those Ism's deal with profit and greed

Why not a system that is runned by science and technology instead of people making decisions for the masses.

Why not use sophisticated computer systems to process our needs and wants.

and this system will be runned by all the people of the world not a small group or some corporations.

Learn the Truth about Communism before you hate it so much, or hate other people.

  • Because you are a F@cking loon. A communist by another name is still the same. If you try to use a computer on me I will gut you and let the coyotes eat the remains. Leave me the F@ck alone.

  • Wow you really hate your self then

maybe you might need to get some help

  • I really hate those that would take my liberty and you seem like a prime candidate.

  • Both would accomplish the same thing: death and suffering.

  • If you want to be charitable to people, that's great, but you have no right to force everyone else to be also. We have our own worries and our own people we intend to be charitable towards.

Besides, if the government does it by force it is definitively not a charitable act.

  • I'm talking about a fully Automated Economic system, where we use the best that science and technology has to offer to make the system Automatic.

Why should we work 60 -70 hours a week on Minimum pay while other people are out of work?

In this system no one will be forced to do anything.

We only have force and laws because we can't get to the source of the problem which is the monetary system itself and change it.

America boomed in the 50's because of Inventions.

  • why can't create things that can make our lives more simpler in life and get rid of the force, get rid of the Restrictions, and laws, and get rid of all the big business and government control.

We only need leadership because we can't lead our selves.

Today automation is in alot of factories, and look at some of the robots today that look just like us. Why not put them to work for us and we reap in the benefits.

  • f@ck you bitch focus on your own needs and leave me alone. Keep your leadership and tyranny. You are a loon.

  • Wow so much anger over some comments on a a video.

I'm not your enemy, but i suppose you have your own issues.

If you ever tried to honor and respect others? Maybe your just all alone.

You know nothing really hurts me, if that's what your trying to do.

Someone like you really does give me a laugh, but of course i'll stop replying toward your message.

IF you don't want to respond then don't do it.

I don't hate you but you got alot of issues with your self, to promote so much hate.

  • I only hate those that wish to destroy my liberty, seems that you are on the list bitch.

  • how about forming a state project & trying your system out first before we try to change the system that made this country great.

  • Actually that's exactly what is in one of the phases, to build an Experimental city first to test the way it would work.

And by the way it has nothing to do with states. It's a world project, if you saw the planet from above there are no borders or lines.

    Those are all artificial

    Thanks for your opinion though

I'm not against anybody here, i'm just saying there is better solutions we just have to figure whats best for the entire population.

  • Sounds like a system I would choose to opt out of, Good luck with your experiment. if you seen the planet from above now there would be no borders or lines, you do know that the border lines on a map are only on the map, Right?

What's best for the entire population is choice, that's why we were set up as a republic with the majority of the power residing with the states, want socialism move to Jersey.

  • Which people? the ones the money has been stolen from or for? address the real problem, why was the person living on the street?

  • That person is living on the street, because there are hardly any opportunities for anyone to better them selves.

Tell those people in Detroit that live on the streets to get a job, when there is no jobs to be filled, when robots are doing they're work on the automobiles.

Of course Banks are the biggest Thieves on the planet, especially the big banks.

The Fed is the worse of them all and i'm sure we can agree with that.

  • That's a cop out. there's always opportunity, some People are just too lazy to search for it.

so who works on the Robots? first off you need to search out the reason those people are living on the streets.

The government is the thief, banks are just opportunists.

We surely agree on the Fed, it's the main Offender in all the troubles you mentioned.

  • One video that makes this all Clear for anyone to understand

    " The End of Capitalism"

    raushkanaush Channel

    Watch

    "Zeitgeist Addendum"

    "Future by Design"

The Venus Project is getting So Extremely hot right now, just some of us here in the states have been Lied to and manipulated to hate other anything different to the Established monetary system.

Not everyone here in the U.s. but alot of us has.

People are lazy because they've given up hope and don't care anymore.

  • When there is nothing to Strive for in life, you tend to give up. We area always trying to get ahead of someone else, trying to get the better job, trying live a better life.

IF there is no work out there accept for the low paying jobs working at burger king and K-mart which even they won't last.

As the minimum wage is so very low right now, taxes are too much for people, Medical bills and debt are through the roof.

    Where do you see opportunities?

when everything is surrounded by debt.

  • In your life.

We are all called Debt Slaves also known as Consumers

In the future we won't even make it in the history books as for our society.

Future generations will look back at this and look how horrible we were to our selves, to each other and to our planet.

Until we start deciding on something different than money than we will never Evolve our civilization.

Especially when the 1% of the population controls 95% of the world's wealth and resources combined.

  • Seen Zeitgeist Addendum

I don't hate your point of view, I don't hate anyone's point of view (if genuine). It's just not a system I would be happy under.

Giving up is their choice, I hope they understand the Consequences.

  • What to Rand and Ron Paul know about medicine?

    There just doctors.

I want Nancy Pelosi making my medical decisions.

  • I dont know if you people remember Obama had a press conference where he spoke in defense of Obama-care. Well they told the doctors invited to wear white coats, so it looks more "serious" and more "urgent", so why is Rand Paul wearing a doctor's uniform? Are we supposed to find his opinion more trustworthy because of this? Come on Mr.Paul, just wear a shirt/suit, standard every day clothes.

  • Maybe because this Interview is being held in his Office?

  • We also need the AMA monopoly and the Medical schools to stop limiting the number of physicians who graduate each year. This decreases competition and increases prices. If their were a doctor on every corner how much could they charge?

  • what cell phones is this guy buying?

  • Comment removed

  • I presume he's referring to the disposable prepaid cell phones you can get at gas stations, Target, Wal-mart, ect...

  • Sense as always go Rand!

  • Elective surgeries are competitive not because one doctor charges less than another. Its competitive because doctors can't convince people to go under the knife by choice. Not a lot of people "elect" to go under the knife or laser. Cost only deters them even more. So that is why Doctors charge less.

  • The only time people are willing to go under the knife is to make themselves "look good" or better. But as you can see, plastic surgery which is almost never covered by insurance and completely competitive based are still very expensive procedures. Lets not make excuses why we shouldn't reform the health insurance industry. Insurance companies are competitive yet why do we pay so much in health insurance. Sometimes, competitive capitalism does not control costs.

  • If we do the right things morally, we do not fear corruption or abuse. Basic necessities in society must be left to the greater whole of society to provide or else the greater society becomes weak. Education, Health care, and nutrition must first of all and foremost reflect the level of society's standard of living. Then we must concentrate on providing these basic necessities properly in order to give every individual the chance to strive in a free market society.

  • It is obvious that everybody is born with greater or lesser gifts of abilities. Equal distribution of health care, education, and food will not make anybody less or more successful. Smart people will remain smart. Dumb people will remain dumb. But the equal distribution of basic needs will at least provide everybody the optimal chance to succeed for the greater good. It should be man's goal to not only breed healthy but also remain healthy, as our survival depends on it.

  • "It is obvious that everybody is born with greater or lesser gifts of abilities." It is obvious that you either aren't being specific enough in what you mean, or are obviously mislead. There is no aptitudial discrimination in humanity. People can be stimulated in different areas of the brain (more so than others) but that is componsated equivically. That's where DNA plays a role, it all lies within experience. Education is one way, like you said. Every twenty-one year old (healthy) has the same-
