  • Still genius 5 years later, more poeple should see it!

  • Using stamps was a brilliant idea. Well done Mr CraigTheFish.

  • "you do carry on about your virginity"

is that sample from one of the carry on films?

  • Did this win? I favourited it way back, it's the best video I've ever seen to any song....not so daft, the usage of stamps to tell the song's story as in the album artwork, is inspired.

Still love this song most when watching it with this video. :)

  • The divine comedy is one of those bands that can properly change your mood

  • well done. made me laugh

  • CraigTheFish - Brilliant! Awesome! Wonderfully done. Thanks for the time spent and thought that went into this one. Cheers!

  • "If there's a war, I sleep with you before you get killed."

    Epic.

I'll sooo have to use this in real life.

  • I always thought I was a great lyricist, but Neil puts me to shame. I'm madly jealous of his way with words and I love to bask in his music!

  • I agree, the juxtaposition of the creepy, overly desprate lyrics work so well with the jaunty upbeat music. Comedic masterpiece.

  • I LOVE these lyrics and the creepy aura of the melody makes the song complete. Good work Neil aka Divine Comedy. This video is freakin' awsome. Good work Mr. Fish. I found the Divine Comedy Stamps very clevor....

  • Now every time that I see you

    Your uniform becomes see-through

You don't know how much I need you

    The handy-andies I've been through

    Wonderful!

  • Ok this is better than the last one I looked at, I like it a lot....very clever!!! :)

  • whats the movie quote from here, is it a Carry On film?

  • I think its from a Channel 4 serial The Camomile Lawn

  • Yes - I'm sure it's from the Camomile Lawn - That is Jennifer Ehle (Pride and Prejudice) talking...
