Jerry Sadowitz who appeared in Terry Blair&Anouchka's video of Ultra Modern Nursery Rhymes, complained that this video infringed upon his copyright. Jerry's been replaced.
It has taken 5 months to do this!
Although angry with Jerry, I am also grateful because, I would have never learned Adobe After Effects and graphic animation. So thank you Jerry!
Jerry has been replaced by a number of colourful characters! Marc Bolan even makes an appearance! Bet he won't complain??!!!
OH MY GOD! I remember liking this song and video but could not remember what it was called or by whom (who?). I searched for it off and on over the years and then today by accident I happned upon it..... Cool!
Love this song to bits and I love Terry Hall with Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics in a band called Vegas. Anyone remember them?? Great song called Possessed came out about 1992. Muchos Wicked!!
One of the most beautiful tunes with an absolutely superb arrangement; while I was aware of Terry hall before this track, this made him one of my top three favourite artists and he has remained there.
whoa! Had no idea there was a video for this tune...While it didnt' get a huge amount of air play back then, I did hear this on LIVE 105 out of San Francisco back in the day. Thanks for the post..good times!
Loved Terry in the Specials and liked him less and less after that. Nice to be able to listen to his later work on youtube without buying it. I appreciate the post! Thanks! Reminds me of Paul Weller going to Style Council after the Jam except I liked some of their songs, cannot get into this at all, it is like David Byrne after leaving Talking Heads and doing Calypso.
cool song but not the video. i don't like the dancing part. but i like the keyboards on the song. nobody played this song during the eighties but NU107.
Been hoping to hear this again for many years. Bought the cassette with this song back in the day but have no idea where it is.

Yes, this is Terry Hall from FunBoyThree, probably best known for being lead singer for The Specials.

Am i the only one thinking that terry hall truly resembles the great peter sellars?
Well, apart from that: what a change from virgins and philistines to deception... Like them both, though.
