Just one of the best singers to come out of the 60's. So distinctive and just Cilla . . as all the girl singers wee in those days. Brilliant !

She could really hit those notes without artificial studio help like nowadays.

I actually preferred her singing live on some occasions, as opposed to to the recordings and this is one example.

She is so underestimated now as a great vocalist.

Cilla's performances should be an example to today's performers on Microphone technique NEVER does she cover her face by it. She also looks directly into the camera lense connecting with tv viewers.

Cilla has the most amazing voice and I think no one can put a song across as convincingly as Cilla can. The range in her voice, different 'styles' and the passion can't be compared to any other singer. That whole album is really great. That song is enough to give any music lover goosbumps!

my gran used to know her ma and she used to sell cilla's clothes on her market stall on great homer street market - liverpool. cilla a great singer but got lost in TV and then became a bit of a joke for her singing (think - des o'connor) but she is such a good singer. she has such a wide range and the old classics are untouchable. gotta lotta lorra respect for cilla

Dusty was the best, but Cilla did have a terrific voice. I wish this rendition would have more closely mirrored the original Godspell single (edited) version, but still great.
