  • This is NOT a "temper tantrum" but a rider not understanding what to do or what's going on. This is what I see to be happening.

Horse: "Mum, I messed up, can I try that again?"

    Rider: Kicking

Horse: "Mum, I really can't do this this close up."

    Rider: More kicking

Horse: "I asked you to stop!" Some kicking and junk

What shouldv'e been done is that the rider had taken the horse back FURTHER to give her the propper room to clean the obstacle. This isn't being bad, the horse just felt unsafe.

  • Ahh Good job handling this!

My favorite part : ah that's cute!

    Haha :) I'm subbing!

  • We considered flies or bees or some bug irritating her but she does it quite often, its a naughty little trick but if you just stick it out she gets past it. In the arena or situations where she is rarely/occasionally naughty at we carry a crop and solves the problem :) she is a million times better and LOVES cross country now (thank goodness!!)

  • By any chance would it be the flies? The way the horse is trying to kick and whip its tail at that one part?

Nice riding tho & Very beautiful horse (: x

  • Shes such a beautiful horse!

Shame about the tantrum ;] Lol

  • Hard to believe this is the same horse who just went double clear at her first event yesterday!

  • 5 mins later she went over following another horse-and somehow she wasnt lame the next day!

  • naughty naughty horsee!! Did she ever go over it?
