Look at Joplin, Missouri, there's a big disaster now, and everyone is helping each other. On the other hand I think that Boortz was trying to say that New Orleans was riddled with criminals and needed to be cleansed, much like any major city. I think when the infrastructure gets old and run down then you get a lot more crime, and I think Katrina paved the way for New Orleans rebuild.

That before Katrina it tied with Baltimore as the nations #2 in homicides? In terms of robbery, rape, drug presence(not even counting weed), homicides etc... I think what Boortz was referring to was the fact that after Katrina, there was widespread violence, rape, and looting. Look at Joplin, Missouri, there's a big disaster now, and everyone is helping each other. The people who looted and attacked others in the chaos after Katrina ARE filth, and honestly, crime rates are lower now in New Orleans than they were pre-Katrina...honestly, Katrina may have clensed a lot of filth from New Orleans (there WERE innocent people though, who didnt deserve it)

I must be missing something here. I listened several times but I can't seem to find where he said "black human debris". I know what the debris Boortz is talking about..several moved to my town. Business and town folk bent over backwards to help them, even found jobs, cars for them. But when all the free stuff ran out so did they! Plus left a pile of debt. I know everyone was not like that but the next time it happens, I dont think my little town will be so helpful. Oh and they were white debris!

If you have lived in New Orleans pre Katrina and have any since of understanding an.....Neal is RIGHT!!! plus everyone there was proud that they were living in a place that could be wiped out by a hurricane .....everyone knew that that day was coming! OK first of all I think neal boortz is a terrible radio show host, and needs to give other people a chance to speak on his show rather than cutting them off all the time, talk about a lack of manners. On the other hand I think that Boortz was trying to say that New Orleans was riddled with criminals and needed to be cleansed, much like any major city. I think when the infrastructure gets old and run down then you get a lot more crime, and I think Katrina paved the way for New Orleans rebuild.

I love Neil and his opinions. Somebody's gotta say it. If you have seen New Orleans before Katrina you would tend to agree with that horrible statement. I dealt with the debris when I worked in Atlanta and had daily contacts with them. Not all, but each group has it's debris. White ,black or hispanic all have their scum that should be whisked away to some island. Boortz has just as much right to his opinion as this bleeding heart asswipe (The young Turd) that can only get airtime on youtube.
