@Distollica I saw Testament open for Megadeth in Scranton a few weeks ago with Glen filling in at lead guitar. He was fucking incredible. However he never had that amazing fit with Megadeth in my opinion simply because he is just a metal guitarist. So in a band like Testament where the solos are just fast repetitions of various scales, he does fine. But Poland was a jazz guitarist, Friedman did Blues and Pop (and everything else) and Broderick does classical so he seems very bland in comparison

Um I'm a drummer and anyone with ears can hear the difference in styles and abilities. It's coming from the POV of a musician that Shawn's drumming doesn't stand up. His fills are stiff and lack a groove. It's like he's playing from sheet music. There is no flow and natural groove coming from him. Even on the albums he's weak and a little vanilla.
