@aneeresTV Just discovered another duo eyelash glue which is Ardell on GLAM.R. Youtube's being a bit funny and not letting me post the link. I think it's a bit cheaper than what I paid for my MAC one, though from experience, the MAC one's really good :). Not sure which one's used in the tutorial though :(
This is a really good interpretation of Penelope's makeup, but I honestly think you look MUCH better without so much heavy black eyeliner and huge lashes...your eyes look like two black empty spaces @ the end of the video. I love ur other looks in the other videos, which aren't so dramatic

If not then this style makes your eyes look dark which works great because it gives us ladies with dark eyes an example of how the makeup will look. Jus because it looks good on Penelope (dark eyes) doesn't mean it will look good on someone with lighter eyes and visa-versa GREAT JOB!!

I watch all of your makeup tutorials, and love the looks you create, however, I find your camera tends to blur and become pixelated often, which makes it hard to see some of the finer details.

I have a stupid question that prob anyone can answer... is a makeup pencil sharpener the same as a regular like pencil sharpener? Just because I have a regular one but it never seems to sharpen my pencil right and i've got pointy wood ends that hurt my eye when I'm applying.
Well it sounds like your regular sharpener is not a very good one (not even for regular pencils), otherwise it would do for the make-up pencils as well. But there are sharpeners especially made for make-up. I have one like that and they're really good because the blade has a different angle so they don't waste the pencil's 'core' as much as the regular ones do.
You can use a Normal pencil sharpener, it near enough does the same job. I too get the wooden bits pointing out to hurt my eye, so i sharpen that particular bit off.
the great thing about you i noticed is that you're quite fast at applying make up and you dont hold back.. i love that you go for it .. and you're very good at what you do ... love watching your videos

Great look and tutorial. My complexion is darker, but I think I can still pull off this look with just a few minor color changes if needed. I will have to try this first. :)
I'd love to see you guys do a look on someone african american. A lot of times the colors dont look the same on our skin...also because it mixes with the brown in the foundation or powder.
Just to quickly say, this tutorial is extremely helpful! But the thing is i have brown skin, im of indian origin.. and i don't think the colours you used and use in other tutorials will show much on my skin let alone create an effect ! :( so if you don't mind, could you please also recommend alternatives for skin of medium to dark. If i was you i would keep the make up very classic, using colours like the ones used in the Audrey Hepburn look but maybe without such a strong thick eyeliner. With the foundation i would go for Chanel mat lumiere, it stays put so well all day. I hope this helps xx
Do you put on mascara before you put the false lashes on and then a coat again afterwards or do you set the lashes onto natural, clean lashes and then add mascara afterwards to combine the natural and false together? Thanks
Not really, if you dont put mascara on then your own lashes will look powdery and be in direct contrast to the false lashes making it appear obvious that you are wearing them.
Trust me I have been doing print work for 15 years and mascara is essential.
On the eyes i used Brule as the base, vanilla through the brow bone, brown script through the socket bone and smolder eye pencil then to finish carbon eyeshadow these are all mac eyeshadows. xx

Yeah don't use a pencil sharpener :) It's not made for eye pencils

You can use a Normal pencil sharpener, it near enough does the same job. I too get the wooden bits pointing out to hurt my eye, so i sharpen that particular bit off.

I also had a question, i am from colombian origin and i have small black eyes with eyelashes who dont curl!! I have tried to put on purpleish and brown eye make up but it makes me look i have a black eyes or something..

I'd love to see you guys do a look on someone african american. A lot of times the colors dont look the same on our skin...also because it mixes with the brown in the foundation or powder.

Just to quickly say, this tutorial is extremely helpful! But the thing is i have brown skin, im of indian origin.. and i don't think the colours you used and use in other tutorials will show much on my skin let alone create an effect ! :( so if you don't mind, could you please also recommend alternatives for skin of medium to dark. Thanks it will be much appreciated! =]

Hi! I just discovered your vids, OMG i have no words..what you do is art! Since you are perfect at this, could you gimme a suggestion? My wedding dress is red and dark green, i dont want to use the same colors in my makeup overtly, i mean it'll be too matchy matchy...I have dark brown eyes, wheatish complexion with yellow undertones. Hey,
If i was you i would keep the make up very classic, using colours like the ones used in the Audrey Hepburn look but maybe without such a strong thick eyeliner. With the foundation i would go for Chanel mat lumiere, it stays put so well all day. I hope this helps xx

Do you put on mascara before you put the false lashes on and then a coat again afterwards or do you set the lashes onto natural, clean lashes and then add mascara afterwards to combine the natural and false together? Thanks

youre making false lashes more complicated than they are
just put them on then put mascara if you want

Not really, if you dont put mascara on then your own lashes will look powdery and be in direct contrast to the false lashes making it appear obvious that you are wearing them.
Trust me I have been doing print work for 15 years and mascara is essential.

On the eyes i used Brule as the base, vanilla through the brow bone, brown script through the socket bone and smolder eye pencil then to finish carbon eyeshadow these are all mac eyeshadows. xx
