It's starting with: "And I showed my body to sea again.." (or something like) English is not my native, and I'm having little difficulties with recognizing some words ;)

Oh, and I don't think he's a gay!! For me this song is about some problems and bad times in his life and about friendship, not gay-relationship :)

@Insigma83 - I don't think that he's gay...I think it means he was feeling a bit lost and tried to find happiness through sex basically....but he realised that wasn't helping. Then 'he said i'm happy to have you home' - well when he says "I told him i'd been away, and he knew the depths of what I was meaning" I think that's like, him saying he hadn't been himself...but when he realised all this he felt a lot better and it showed in his face. But thats was just my interpretation. :)
