@nylonTS - Yeah the guy in the boiler suit is dressed as one of the men who built the new stand - its a running theme throughout the tattoo. He's actually the sound engineer for the tattoo as well as the drum major of one of the bands who, unfortunately weren't on the tattoo.
I went on the 19th August. I have wanted to go for as many years as I can remember. I was very disappointed. I paid £117 for two tickets & a programme. So called best seats.
Stay at home and watch it on the BBC or even here on YouTube, the sound is much better.
Great show, was not a Tattoo fan but after friday the 12th of august when we were there during our Scotland holiday I'm impressed, I also made a film impression of the night its takes 18 min.
fabulous night for the first night of the Tattoo, we were sat a few seats away from where this was shot and had a wonderful time. all the old favourites were played which made it great to listen to. Scotland the brave, the Black Bear and the Royal Marines playing Sunset, what more could you want?

The whole thing is getting worse it was supposed the be British Forces and comonwealth
