  • Stunning little girl! Do you have any recent videos of her?

  • @CHEVYedsf - Yes I do but for some reason youtube is not letting me link them to my reply to you :(

  • Beautiful how you keep them a s a family!!!!

  • sooooooooooooooooo cuteeeee!!!!!!!!

  • i love how the stud, the mare, and the baby li e together in a herd, just like a family :)

    many farms dont do that.

  • Thank you for this video! These horses are simply stunning. Clydesdales are such an interesting race of horses.

  • They are beautiful!

  • nice job

  • Beautiful video. Nice to see horses running naturally as a "herd" no matter how small.

I like the new music, but them again i hate Chumba Wumba :)

  • Just not the same without the original music...curse youtube and their copyright claims. Still though, beautiful horses and footage

  • Thank you! And I agree, it seems really quite draconian - I dunno, if I was Chumba Wumba I would be thrilled that my music was being used like this. Ah well.

  • Some funny comments on here..

I'm just wondering if Robbie is trained to harness, or if any of his offspring have before?

I have a Clyde mare, in the Wairarapa, & Robbie would certainly be my first choice!

I just came across your clip by chance, but it's lovely.

    Cheers!

  • Hi. Thanks! His oldest are only just turning two so not yet broken in. He is not broken to harness unfortunately as we just have not had the money available to pay for him to be done by a professional and we have never broken a horse to harness ourselves. You would be welcome to come out and see him in the flesh. He's a good boy and he loves visitors :o)

  • Whats the song called?

  • Tubthumping by Chumbawumba

  • Excellent video...

  • how much does hay cost in New Zealand?

  • It really depends where you are and what sort of hay. We cut our own so pay $2.50NZ/bale (conventional bales that weight around 20kg). I know people around the country are paying $20+/bale at present due to the drought last season.

  • Beautiful video and horses.

  • why are they running? are they scared?

  • No, horses love to run free in their paddocks. They're just being horses :o)

  • Elle galope bizarement avec ses grandes pattes !^^

  • Elle aime courir!

  • Beautiful! Its lovely that the dad gets to live a natural life in a herd with his mares and children. Good on you

  • i never seen anybody turn a sire out with foal hmmm

  • It is completely natural for a stallion to run with his mares and foals and we do it every year with great success. It is very touching to watch Robbie and his foal grooming each other. This year he is running with Meg's mum and her full sister MacKenzie.
