Yeah, I agree, the stench of CBS is all over the gaps in missing episodes. It's hugely disgusting that the sort of people who Serling and Beaumont clearly showed as being "the wrnech in the monkey works of human existence," still are...and worse...they are asserting control over Serling and Beaumont's work. Got to be some psychological reason for that one, eh? Billy Mumy could, perhaps send them into the cornfield, or turn them into jack-in-the-boxes? "That would be a good thing." haha
All your episodes are missing parts, Ebony. I smell the sickly stench of CBS, the owners of these shows--who force people to remove parts or they'll sue them. Give me a break, as wonderful as it is, this show is ancient, it should be PUBLIC DOMAIN by now. CBS--Go sell some of the meaningless new crap you produce and let us watch Twilight Zones!
@KingofStarfox : From whence comes this irrational fear of being SUED? Do the majority of people have some sneaky feeling that they've done a lot of bad things. Not be offensive, but the more people read, the less fearful they are of stuff like that. Let's not turn into Morlocks and Eloi prematurely, shall we? Grow some, and live happy. ;]
@buzzclick500 True, I doubt CBS would bother suing each & every person who posts its shows online, but KingofStarfox is right: production companies are such bullies about this stuff! Viacom is the worst one - it infuriates me that companies like this refuse to let people post old shows when they're not even on TV anymore, and some of them aren't even on DVD! Twilight Zone is on DVD, but it's 50 years old, for Pete's sake! I'm sure CBS isn't losing much money due to our watching TZ here!
@elliottlover88 : "Officially", the copyright laws changed from 28 years to "50 years past the life of the authors" in 1972--the production companies can actually be sued for what you described for CLAIMING ownership of these productions on false premises. Part of the reason for these fears is that, with the "recession" and all, everyone's looking for excuses to make money any way they can. That doesn't automatically mean they're going to succeed. ;]
@buzzclick500 One more thing - if YouTube users ignore warnings that tell them not to post stuff in violation of copyright laws, then YouTube often removes the offending videos and shuts down the accounts of those who posted them. So it's not like ebonyandwhite took down some of these TZ videos out of an irrational fear of being sued - more likely, it was due to a rational fear of having his/her account shut down! I think this is sad. Nothing is free anymore! :( Guess I'll have to buy TZ on DVD.
@elliottlover88 : That makes more sense, when you put it that way. I like YouTube, and I feel that they provide a good service. Plus, I'm 55, and have seen all the episodes. If something's missing,I can "patch it in" from memory. ;]

I love the old shows. They were made with intelligence and decency. Just shows you don't have to have cussing and Nudity to make a good movie.

Classic and little seen episode. Its hard to say whether the 30 min or 60 min episodes had more impact.
