  • Miguel Fleta ...De Lucia...Navvarini e ancora 60 tenori italiani migliori di questo urlatore.

  • There seems to be a slightly pinched sound to Blake's singing....rather nasal at times.... but she is super!!!

  • Bravi! Blake is VERY good and Aliberti DIVINE! Thankyou for posting.

  • I puritanu is a winner- I'm partial to the recording with Mr. Distephano-

  • Excellent! Aliberti is still very good here, and her pertichini are really really nice. As usual your clips show what recording companies have chosen to ignore. I hope more postings of this performance are coming.

  • Sure thing, anything in particular you would like to see?

  • The duet "Vieni fra queste braccia" would be great!

  • I second that! And perhaps the Credeasi Misera duet!

    Thanks!

  • That would be marvellous too!

  • Well, you know the Credeasi is very altered in the Malibran version, the soprano and tenor trade vocal lines. Although, I have never heard a soprano sing it better than Aliberti does in this recording.

  • It would be very interesting to hear though!

I agree, Aliberti is wonderful, I'm not too crazy about Blake though.
