Wow ... when I was there in 1994, it was mostly covered with water. Is the lake still this low today? (August 2010.)

this was summer of 2008
from what I know lake's water level is same or lower than year 2008.
I was also surprised to see whole Jetty exposed!

yes it is near by brigham city, utah
it is about 19 miles dirt road drive from golden spike national historic site.

yes it is spiral jetty by Robert Smithson!!
jetty shoots out from the bank of the lake
it is located in great salt lake, Utah USA
earth art work was build in 1970 in a shallow bay in the northeast section of the lake.
spiral jetty was submerged since 1974 by the lake's rising water table
it became exposed in recent years due to regional drought... : )
