@duranali Your reply is correct, but in Islam, it is actually prohibited to write peace be upon him as an abbreviation of pbuh after the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him's name. The same ruling applies when writing SAW (Sallallahu Alayhe Wasallam (Peace be upon him in Arabic))
Actually some scholars say that you don't even have to write (peace be upon him) or (Salalahu alayhi wasalam), just say it on your head. That fatwa is in islamqa website,

Oh actually i looked up what u were talking about. That is a complete misunerstanding. I think it is because the Islamic calendar follows the moon. That really has nothing to do with the religion at all. A moon cycle is a full month right? And this calendar was made a long time ago when ppl looked to the sky to know what time it is. So the moon cycle would show when a month would begin and end and that's why the calendar is a lunar one. Ppl get confused with that.
oh so now you've checked it out just a bit. check some more. you'll find that the moon cycle had everthing to do with pre Islamic worship. Recently, archeologists found 2 more ancient Kaabahs. Did you know that pre Islamic arabs already worshipped 5 times a day before Muhammed taught them? they bowed toward the kaabah too.. you find the source yourself. i am not going to tell you.
some of that's true. But that was before Islam was sent down to eaerth. The arabs before did not worship the same Allah as Muslims. They worshipped idols and called them "the God." These r just what the arabs did before they became Muslim. Islam condemns idol worship or worshipping any other god but the true god.

He would also make sure to teach the people the ways properly worshipping Himself and not assimilate the exisiting culture. The assimilating of the existing pagan practices is basically to stop opposition. This is also what Roman conquerors did as well. it a technique.
that's because judaism and christianity were in arabia and Islam is a continuation of those two religions except Islam is the perfected version. Plus, the Arabs would follow Abraham and Ishmael, but then later on generations and generations later they started straying from Abraham's teachings and they started adding their own things to Abraham's teachings and they turned it into polytheism and idol worship.
However they still follwed a few of the things that Abraham taught but most of the religion Abraham taught had been distorted. So Muslims did things the right way and they had some things similar to Pre-Islam Arabs because Pre-Islam Arabs had actually done some things right. Those were the things that Abraham taught.
Jews follow the teachings of Abraham as well from the very beginnig till now. if what you said is true, then either the Jewish pratices are wrong or muslims have been mis led... because these seems to be 2 versions.

U are interpreting the quran wrongly. u must look at the situation in which that verse in the quran is brought to prophet muhammad by Gabriel( Jibrail ). And during that situation, it was war time. Muslims were being oppressed. That was why Allah instructed the muslims then to kill those enemy of islam ( those fighting against Islam). You must first read the history of Islam to get a better understanding of the quran.

None of the Arab have.Ishmael is father of the Ishmalites, which were later absorbed into the Arab population. The Kaabah were not established by Abraham and Ishamael. Historical evidences is usefull source that help to validate claims made by all religions. you must view archeology as a friend to validate claims in the Quran. research is important. i say this for all reliogions not just Islam.

Oh actually i looked up what u were talking about. That is a complete misunerstanding. I think it is because the Islamic calendar follows the moon. That really has nothing to do with the religion at all. A moon cycle is a full month right? And this calendar was made a long time ago when ppl looked to the sky to know what time it is. So the moon cycle would show when a month would begin and end and that's why the calendar is a lunar one. Ppl get confused with that.

Did you know that pre Islamic arabs already worshipped 5 times a day before Muhammed taught them? they bowed toward the kaabah too.. you find the source yourself. i am not going to tell you.

1.Mecca was a pre-Islamic centre of worship.
2.Kaabah was filled with 360 idols. they're genric name was Allah.
3.Archeologist have found 3 more ancient Kaabahs in Arabia.
4.Pre-Islamic Arab bowed down towards the kaabah several times a day and made pilgrimage to it.
5.they also ran between 2 hills, walked a around the kaabah 7 times and kissed the black stone.

some of that's true. But that was before Islam was sent down to eaerth. The arabs before did not worship the same Allah as Muslims. They worshipped idols and called them "the God." These r just what the arabs did before they became Muslim. Islam condemns idol worship or worshipping any other god but the true god.

Many of the practises of pre-Islam Arabs where carried on in Islam. My argument is that if Allah were to send down an enlightenment. He would also make sure to teach the people the ways properly worshipping Himself and not assimilate the exisiting culture. The assimilating of the existing pagan practices is basically to stop opposition. This is also what Roman conquerors did as well. it a technique.

that's because judaism and christianity were in arabia and Islam is a continuation of those two religions except Islam is the perfected version. Plus, the Arabs would follow Abraham and Ishmael, but then later on generations and generations later they started straying from Abraham's teachings and they started adding their own things to Abraham's teachings and they turned it into polytheism and idol worship.
