I really can't understand how this girl only had one hit in the UK top 40 (End of the world). She has such a soft homely and musical voice and this is a wonderful version of I Will.
OK "I Will" admit I had completely forgotten this great song. There will never be another era like the 60's. The background music is so wonderful. THANKS for posting this masterpiece.
Interesting to hear this version. I was familiar with Vic Dana's and Billy Fury's, but I never knew Skeeter Davis did a version. Very nice. Thanks for posting.
Do you think you can email me the mp3 file of this song. And the cover art of either of the aforementioned albums ["Cloudy, With Occasional Tears" (1963) and "The Best Of Skeeter Davis" (1965)]???
This is the first time I've heard this version. I like it very much. I bet she's sadly missed on the country circuit. Rest in peace, Skeeter. Lovely song.
