  • "I know, eh?" It's just a better way of saying, "I know, right?" :)

  • Honestly, why are you appropriating 'eh' as Canadian? My boyfriend is born and bred English, I've lived in England for 3 years and, believe me, 'eh' is 100% British

  • @Amingr No!

  • @blade4475 Are you a Canadian?

  • @Amingr Clearly you no nothing aboot the origin of the word eh, eh?

  • @blade4475 I read enough things about the word 'eh' to know that it didn't originate in Canada. Are you Canadian yourself?

  • Proud to be Canadian!!! I love this stereotype, as well (though I do say it a lot...) ^^ Great video, eh?

  • Haha! This was so great! You got how to use eh! perfectly! Im Canadian and I really enjoyed this video. Its so weird how people actually dont use that word, eh? : D

  • Thank you.

    Great lesson dude.

  • it's coal dout?

  • so "eh" is like how some Americans say "right"

  • wtf, Eh?

  • it is originally from scotland, alot of people in Edinburgh say eh? at the end of sentences.

  • I'm from Cannda, And i use 'Eh' all the time, its like the best! Eh (BTW nice hat!)

  • Eh?

  • Woah! Nice video, eh?

    PS, I'd totally watch you're hat anytime...eh.

  • All of what you say is true . . .and more! Eh? I use eh a lot, but I wouldn't use it to ask someone whether or not they were going to a party. If I was forcing them to go to a party I would say "You're coming to the party, eh?" or if I'm warning someone about something: "You shouldn't walk too close to the edge platform, eh?" I sometimes say "Thanks, eh?" Canada times.

  • I love the "I know, eh?"

It's like saying: " Yes, I agree with you. Don't you agree that it's right that I agree with you?"

    So Canadian, eh?

    (warming hands on monitor screen)

  • thank for showing us this video, eh!

in Québec, we say "hein" about the same way you say eh.

maybe it's because we live in Canada too...

(most people tend to forget it sometimes, eh...?)

  • Hee hee, I use "eh" a lot, but I'm from Michigan.

  • I'm glad there is such a strong canadian influence on american culture!!!

  • @HammyWhoPWNS

    same here

  • my mother is Canadian and she uses this alot in her sentences it annoying!!

  • No it's not. Not it's not. Eh?

  • Nice toque, eh.

  • Great hat. Mom was from Canada and we have folks there, eh, and I'll send them your video. Dee

  • "only if You WHERE a hat"? Don't you mean wear a hat?

  • what do you expect from a canuck? and thanks for the subscription whoever you are

  • Dawg, that's for Schizzel.

  • I think he forgot the greating "eh". Instead of saying what's up?/how are you?/how's it goin'? a simple "eh?" does it in a sec! I know I use it.

  • I almost forget that we also use "eh" to say "what's goin on?". Or if it's messy... like you didn't wash dishes for 2 weeks and your roommate looks at you and says "eh?" like "wtf, yuv'gotta do something dude!".

  • ok so you can use Eh for when you ask whats up and stuff like that. Or can u just use it in any question? sorry Im curious XD

  • I'd say for any question. To claim your interest or you curiosity. I really think it shows that you're not quite sure. So you could ask me: Can you use that for any question, eh?

  • well, not any question. for instance you would not say 'are you going to cathrines party eh?' however, we can rephrase this question so is begins with you, and then it would work, so its 'you're going to catherines party eh?' in this case i'm already assuming you are going and just looking for confirmation with the eh. eh here is like ' aren't you?' so questions that end in eh usually look for a confirmation.

  • ok thanx ^_^

  • It's freezing out here, eh? Buddy man, thanks for this video. Make another eh! They're fantastisch.

  • Well february 10th is comming up eh. And we decided to protest in real life against the church of scientology for its gross human rights violations. You will help us eh? Look up project chanology for more info.

    (Am I doing "eh" right?)

  • your first usage is fine. The second though should really be more like "you'll help" instead of "you willl" so it goes "you'll help us eh?" or even "you'll help eh?"

  • oh I see, thank you.

  • Can I be in the next one?

  • only if you where a hat
