FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO SPEND (THIS DEVICE IS 1999.99 @ EBAY!!!) ANOTHER SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO BUY AN ACER T231H HIGH DEFINITION TOUCH SENSITIVE SCREEN. It has none of the buttons but you can poke the screen directly drawing with your finger. It costs (300.00$) three hundred dollars. Thats one seventh (1/7 th) the price.

@jasoncummings2000 Just because it is cheaper does not mean it is better. As a Graphic Designer. I would rather have an instrument to draw with rather then my finger. Yes it cost just as much as a used car would, But if you want to accomplish something great, Use the best tool's to do so. For example. Bamboo Tablet's are great for beginners, Not so great for expert's. That is why Graphic Designers go to Intuos series. This however is for those who are the BEST of the BEST.

@DuskForte by the time I need to manipulate images in Photoshop most of the drawing is already done. I was trying to be silly. The stylus used for a WACOM Tablet can be used directly on the Acer screen to draw (with the same level of accuracy).

In the end it's not the best "TOYS" that make the best of the best designers the best it's taking the time to practice and get the skills. Once you do that I suspect you could probably make superb designs with Crayola Crayons and cheap construction paper.

@MrJasoncummings2000 True. I personally prefer doing artwork by hand then using tool's on photoshop. I am more of a Digital Painter. Skill's matters the most. But you also need the equipment as well. I seen some amazing stuff on just ink, crayola, etc. That is something I cannot achieve.

I love the video, and obviously the 24HD is a beautiful tool for creative people in digital mediums. My one irk though is... where did the rotating screen function go from the 21UX? I'm in the market for buying a cintiq monitor and my instinct is to go with the 21UX or wait until the 2nd Gen 24HD comes out. Wacom taking some marketing advice from Apple all of a sudden?

i dont' think i'll buy this only cause i can't "twist" or rotate the surface to match my comfort zone for drawing... who actually sits like a doll, verticle and upright (ok maybe someone does), but i sure don't.. and would definitely need to be able to not only lower the drawing surface angle, but rotate.... oh well.
