I couldn't help but be impressed by Manhattan from the air, but New York city is a bit of a mess at street level. Maybe I just caught the city on a bad week.
The Burger King was lIke every other Burger King in the city of NYC. it's not really hard living here, if you live in the city for at least 4-months, you get use to the craziness and the noise it produces.
It's the first BK I've seen like that anywhere. I don't think I could ever get used to the noise and chaos. When I was younger, it didn't bother me; but it bothers me now.
Well, I think American car companies earned their cars a bad reputation by not making them very reliable. Historically, foreign name cars have always been built better, and last longer. Thanks for watching!
Thanks - I'm glad you like it. I put alot into making my videos. I wish they were better though. I've owned "foreign made" cars, so I speak from experience. Besides, Ford has Nissan parts in them. All American cars have "foreign" parts, & vise versa. I personally don't like New York. It's too noisy, too many people, too congested, too much traffic; hard to get around. Too fast paced for me. Non-stop noise. I don't know how people live there. But it's good to experience it at least once.
Oh. I've been to Tampa many times. I've been all over Florida. Yea, that state got hit really bad with the financial fallout. I guess I could say I sorta lived there too for a couple years. You get paid more in NY because the cost of living is ALOT higher. It all evens out. Homes in Florida are much cheaper, and you have a big yard and a driveway and garage to park a car. I think that's better than living in an apartment. At least that way you own something. Winter in Florida is nice.
What's the Bay area? Miami? The problem isn't Florida. It's bad everywhere. Everyone is hurting. Going back to New York won't change anything. Did you move to Florida before the economy tanked back in November, December?
I was in Brooklyn too. You miss not having enough traffic and the crazy taxi drivers? Haha. I think after a while, you'll get used to it being more quiet where you are, then when/if you go back to New York, you won't be able to handle the non-stop 24 hour a day noise.
One things for sure - New York has a great public transit system, so you don't have to own a car if you don't want one. I noticed alot of people walk in New York. Pedestrians scared me a few times though, because they would walk towards me as I was driving down the road. I thought they were going to walk right in front in me and make me hit them! Manhattan traffic was crazy! I wanted to leave as soon as I got there. People honk their horns at you 4 no reason & there's nowhere to park.
Yea, it's a city that never sleeps. The constant 24-hour rat-race is an artificial distraction. The noise drowns out your thoughts so you can't even think. Not a moment of peace and quietness. I honestly don't know how anyone can live there. I also don't know why people in NY honk their horns at you for no reason. It's really rude. So where are you living now?
I love. New York

No, I have a Garmin. I've had a GPS for the last two years, and now I would never go anywhere without it. They're great!
