Im liking the new maps. I just don't like the new guns. They all seem more powerful to me. But the new blood in battlefield has been fun. Easy kills. I had a guy revive his teammate. I shoot his teammate. By the time I've got a new round in the chamber his friend is up. Killed his friend 5 times or more. I don't think they are friends anymore.

I agree. The first time I played I thought that one team was getting a handicap to balance the teams. I seem to win big or lose big every time. I have only played one close game in over 50 matches. I hope they bring back regular conquest to b2k soon. Love the game as a whole though.
I have not played double maps. And if you go into a normal non B2K server it rotates all the maps. Or just do quick match picking a B2K map and it will cycle through them all.
@ElderAbyss Yeah, I play on PS3. The "problem" is that even if you specifically choose "Conquest" the game ignores that and gives you either Conquest or Conquest Assault, randomly, when it comes to the new maps. I'm sure DICE is just trying to get people accustomed to the new mode, and eventually you'll be able to choose a mode yourself.
I don't dislike the map, but to be honest, I expected a little more. It is still decent but it doesn't really peak out that much. Btw nice vid as always, Abyss =)
@I5CharactersMax There are some standard maps that are build for Conquest. Caspian Border, Kharg Island, Firestorm are all great in CQ for me. I think, even Grand Bazar was designed for CQ, but with different play style than normal BF maps.
Conquest is the only way to play Battlefield IMO. The problem i found with the maps that shipped with BF3 is that they weren't Conquest maps and that affected my opinion of the game as a whole. Now 'Back to Karkand' those maps are Conquest maps and the game is more enjoyable.
I think the devs actually just put the change in for playing maps both ways after people requested it for console. I remember seeing it on twitter or somewhere.
I prefer standard CQ myself. But I do really like the maps and the weapons (even if some of the ways of unlocking them are cheesy).
Personally I've found conquest assault to be pretty balanced for tickets so far, mostly because the attackers get 30 extra and they get to beat the living hell out of the other team with vehicles. The only stupid part I noticed is that tickets start draining during the countdown before the round even starts. I'm hoping that was unintended.

@TheJoao611 I would love to see something like that, as long as it didn't segregate the player pool so much that it got hard to find matches on a regular basis.
I popped onto BF3 over there just enough to get the patch/Karkand downloaded, haven't even tried it out. Really got to hook up with you legends at some point again and give it a spin, haven't felt like playing any shooter games for almost a week now :/ Other then BC2, which I still wouldn't mind on daily basis <3
Already pretty tired of BF3, and now adding the double rounds into the maps, ugh. We'll see if it'll pick up again, or I'm gonna have to pick up something else myself (GoW/CoD)
@Moshpitti Give it a good couple of runs on each map at the very least for sure. It's fun and the maps are interesting, it's just a bit different with the setup. I'm not a fan of double playing the same maps though. that's a big disappointment for me after they finally moved on from that approach in the core game.
i figured you knew but i'll just make sure. you know thats theres a set of ten weapons as well and that they added more destruction and stuff like that right? i do play on pc but i prefer ps3 or xbox and i know it's a little different in both versions
@Ddayboy1944 Oh yeah, I know about the weapons and all that. Same for me man, I prefer the xbox to pc for reasons I can't seem to put my finger on, but it just feels better to me. Could just be because my regular crew is on xbox.

You obviously never played the early Battlefield games, plus this is on console and you don't get the full experience of the Karkand pack. Specifically the first four BF games, there were severs that played nothing but one map over and over. In BF2 I looked for Strike at Karkand maps that played nothing but Karkand because it was one of the most fun maps and you avoided load times. This style of conquest is better for PC because of the larger maps and more flags, its more strategic.
@tvboy223 While I haven't played every single battlefield game, I have been with the franchise all the way back to 1942. So yeah I play PC too, and I'm well aware of 24X7 map servers. I didn't say not one word about that, if you want to do that I think it's good that you can choose to, but we shouldn't be forced to double play maps every time without any choice. That's my point.
@tvboy223 I've played BF3 since day one and I too find playing the same maps over and over pretty tired nowadays, the game has changed so much over the years that I don't see any reason to pick up old habits like that over any others they left out.

Elder i got a tip, when you are lock on to a tank and it's disappearing around the corner or it's really far you can look up really fast and fire the javelin the rocket will shoot up into the sky and drop onto the tank.
It only works when playing game types such as Rush but not conquest, So i agree with you when it comes to replaying the map twice each time. Anyway they are fun to play and you need to check if the server is mixing all maps.
@Wakkawakka388372 I didn't so any videos for a while, but I've been back or a couple weeks now with videos, I started posting back right as youtube was doing the update and maintenance so yeah you could have missed them easy in the middle of all that. Check the channel to find any you may have missed. :)
@duckieebeatd0wn hard call really! I think I will like BF3 more when/if some of the issues get worked out. As of right now I enjoy it and would call the ' like it ' level pretty equal to BC2.

These maps do mix in with the reg maps. Maybe for first week of release they're not mixed in evenly...who knows.
