The comments by the actors calling the Virginia Tech student Asian American is wrong. The individual was a South Korean with a Permanent Resident Alien Status. He was not a U.S. Citizen therefore he was not an American. He was a foreigner born in South Korea. Maybe that's why the media called him Korean because he was.
So I guess had he returned from a foreign country to the United States he can claim he is an American to an Immigration Officer. NOT! As a Resident Alien he had not disavowed his allegiance to his country of birth South Korea and he did not pledge an Oath to the United States affirming the breaking of bonds with his country of birth. Therefore he was a South Korean and NOT an American. By the way why are you defending this psychopath.
asian people are blessed with so much inteligence and they have great talents to offer to this wonderful planet that we live in. one individual's crime does not represent a certain race but one individual's action. we all stand as one human race and we all rise and fall through the course of life. goodness and greatness will always prevail.failures reinforces success. i love and proud to be asian and to be part of "one human race."
I hear you. I'm not asian american, but being a person of color despite constint change in the US we still have a long ways until we can all see each others as just human. Not just asian,black/Aferican, or Spanish Americans. But just american.
You are all great we are still a great nation we can continue to be a great nation. I have found dennis4president and in that lies the solution to every problem faced by our nation. Check it out.
Individual character and mental illness crosses all racial lines. No particular race is immune to discrimination and mental disorders including non-minorities and visible minorities.

I found that video to be rather racist, in that the only people whose opinions were solicited were of an oriental background. Where's the diversity? In particular, notice the lack of Blacks, which isn't surprising since orientals typically do not like Blacks.
@JustKiddingFilms I've studied (and by studied i mean I read an article in US Asian history class) on how "Asian" and I think it can conclusively be stated that the whole "Asian is" concept is utter bunk. can't explain due to letter limit but I'd say that if you believe any one term for group exceeding 3 billion people is acceptable, you are a stupid person.
And don't get me started on how "colored person" is considered offensive but "person of color" is good, seriously wtf is up with that?

Cho moved to America when he was 8 and lived in American for more than 15 years. Citizen or not, he is more American than Korean.
