I love Mr. Tumnus and I know there are spirits of nature and most of them are kind. Actually Tumnus is not bad at all he was just under the pressure of the command of Jadis, that commanded to kidnapp every human being that visited Narnia and take them to her castle to avoid the fulfillment of the profecy. Tumnus first feel he must do that against his will that is why he cries. But finally he listens to his pure heart and he decides not to betray Aslan and let Lucy scape.
