Hypocrisy!

Companies that have given into paying bribes? Western corporations ARE THE ENGINES OF CORRUPTION.

They do more than pay bribes to naughty corrupt officials.

They assassinate, they undermine governments, they fund the opposition if there is even a hint of nationalisation or distribution of resources or land.

@tigerone1970 African countries are mostly very corrupt. The Germanic countries of Europe and the former British Empire countries are ranked by Transparency International as having very little corruption in the govt..

Thank God the USA is not like Africa.

And why is Russia ranked in the 20 most corrupt Govts in the world?

Why are so many muslim countries ranked as very corrupt?

It's a cultural thing. The USA has its puritanical protestant roots to thank....and our clean democracy

russia and other countries like the Arab countries have a cultural history of corruption, greed, and despotism

That's why Iraq is ranked as the 4th most corrupt Govt. in world
