  • If you are in to substance who cares about what other people like or dislike...

I agree with this...especially the part about the agent tipping off Tony. I would go further. The agent does not only lose the purpose of his life if Tony gets hit. He loses himself as he understands himself.

It is a matter of identity.

He not only HAS a purpose...

He IS a man who has a purpose....

The identity of being someone who's after Tony...

...in other words: If Tony gets wacked, the agent loses himself

  • Even though this video is 30% disliked? I actually kinda agree with the guy who stated about Tony's conclusion.

  • its a black screen, stop over thinking it!! he literally put the black screen and said "fuck it, heres nothing, interpret it how you will"

  • @ the uploader. For starters, you are wrong on many things, but mainly when you state that the Mafia do not go to outsiders to carry out hits, which is total BS, but seeings as we are talking about The Sopranos TV show, I'd like to remind you that this was done on several occasions during the show. I find it hilarious that you say "you guys aren't paying attention"...when in fact it is you who seem to have missed various hints in the last few episodes alone....

  • @Taylorslade123 ....David Chase said " Everything that pertains to that episode was in that episode. And it was in the episode before that and the one before that and seasons before this one and so on. There had been indications of what the end is like. Remember when Gerry Torciano was killed? Silvio was not aware that the gun had been fired until after Gerry was on his way down to the floor. That's the way things happen: It's already going on by the time you even notice it. "....

  • @Taylorslade123 ...."It's all there, for anybody who wants to see it." Furthermore, the line from Soprano Home Movies where Bobby says "You probably won't even hear it when it happens", was repeated a couple of times not only in the show itself, but also during the teaser commercial for the final episode. You are the one who obviously wasn't "paying attention". Because you missed all this, then you will no doubt missed the remaining reasons why Tony would be killed even though a "truce" was made

  • @Taylorslade123 ....Not only was there numerous hints and referances about "what the end would be like" , through all of the seasons of the show, there was also another issue which kept bubbling under the surface ever since the start of the show in season 1. Back onto the abrupt ending of the finale....think back to how many times Tony (heavily influenced by his mother) would use the phrase "It's all black" and "It's all a big nothing". I could go on, but pointing out ignorance is pointles here.

  • @Taylorslade123 ....at the end of the day, this was a fantastic ending, and one that was true to the show. The writing of the show was of a exceptionally high standard from the very beginning, especially the Psychotherapy scenes and dynamics with Dr. Melfi, which is something that the long time fans appreciated, and for the superficial viewers wanting a quick thrill, there was the violence, who are mostly the people claiming the ending was a "cop out".

  • @Taylorslade123 ....as he has said himself, David Chase did not want to "spoon feed the longtime viewers who appreciated the show for how I intended it to be, by having a final shot of Tony Soprano face down in a bowl of onion rings with a bullet in his head".

  • Who even cares whether or not he died? The series is over its your own thoughts

  • "presspass" doesn't know much about the mafia. They go back on deals all the time. Hits don't happen a lot anymore but when they do, it's not usually someone the gangster knows. Hell, they used outsiders a lot in The Sopranos. And rules are broken all the time, which is one reason LCN has been weakened so much by the federal government. That's also dealt with at length in The Sopranos. Finally, the New York families run NJ in real life. In the Sopranos they have a big say, too.

  • Ok, so far today, I went from:

    Minecraft

    Ponies

    Last Action Hero

    Justin Bieber dying

    CSI

    Saints Row 3

    Supranos

    This.

  • please stop butchering journey please lol

  • tony didn't know the black guys that attempted to murder him so you're full of shit....

  • You're so wrong it scares me. Tony gets shot, in the head, from the side, by the guy who enters the bahtroom. You can't hear the shot beacuse we, the viewers, experience it through Tonys eyes and senses and since bullets travels faster than sound we (Tony) are unable to hear the shot. The final, black and silent screen is through Tonys eyes, he is dead.

  • It was a great TV show but not realistic.....So comparing it with how the real mob works is silly..

  • this guy is a fucking stupid asshole. the mob doesnt hire assasins/outsiders to do hits? well they did it enough in the show...fucking moron

  • You are the ASSHOLE for thinking you know anything about anything...anyway he must of been talking about the Canadian Mob LOL! LOSER!

  • @StatenIslandSlim LOL!LOSER! are you fucking kidding me? you fat balding 46 year old tough guy on youtube? staten island slim? youve got to be fucking kidding me you piece of fucking meathead shit

  • @tadernuts Canadians like you should keep their north of the border mouths shut...... they use to hire the H.A.s to do some hits so learn your facts

  • Hey, I'm so impressed with your analysis! (I also agree with it). I just saw the final episode only a few weeks ago (after slowly working through the series via DVD on my own) and read some of the more recent explanations of the ending. A lot of them seem to agree with what you said perfectly. The very fact that you came up with this only days after watching it amazes me. Kudos, man! I wish I had your smarts!

  • They ate the onion rings whole like communion, aka Last Supper. He's dead jim.

  • This guy knows too much about the mob.

  • ''Remember when Bobby said: You won't even hear it coming''...

For fucks sake people, that argument is in almost every comment to this video. Yes, David Chase put in a few hints, that Tony could die, but if he wanted to end series with his death - well, that would have been what we saw at the end, NOT just the black screen. He made the ending the way he did, so people make their own ending and believe whatever they want..

We are all still discussing the end, years later... Thats good writing

  • Dont be stupid.. ending is a bit interesting, but its only psychological comercial thing..

Didnt you learn something during this tv show.. Its all about profit..

    :)

Batter check for italian song that junior singed once in restoraunt..

  • what a douchebag

  • I dont think its made to have an explanation. The people who watch the sopranos arent harvard grads dicecting the ending, like a painting. People that have watched the show season after season.Know those cut away shots mean someones gettin whacked.the title alone made in america. And the trucker guy wearing an american cap.the daughter parking her car.the song. I think we all make the ending how we want to make it. Nobody wanted tony to die at the end.So im sure the writers said the hell with it.

  • @highonbetter Dissecting. Nice job Harvard Graduate.

  • @highonbetter tony died?

  • @highonbetter Its obvious you aren't a grad either. Your grammatical errors are atrocious.

  • They were my Paisans he got fuckin whacked ok enough with all these theory's

  • Comment removed

  • Why the FUCK do you need a microphone.

  • I don't feel that tony is dead, because it just to me feels like they've got everything on track and life is just going "on and on."

However, the scene is like Godfather, the guy goes to the toilet (michael corleone) he grips the gun behind the toilet block and kills those two guys. But I feel what this guy is saying here is true. Tony isn't dead.

Also, a mob boss CAN be killed even if the other one doesn't order a hit on him, this can be done in many forms, message me for more.

  • I can see the reasons why people see the final scene as a death scene - especially because of the repeat flashback of Bobby telling Tony 'you probably don't feel a thing, or see it coming and it all just goes black'. Also the guy who goes to the toilet does eyeball Tony a couple of times in a way that could be suspicious. However - why? Who would be behind the hit? Again, the series doesn't leave us any clear suspects ... at all. So I have to veer towards the 'Tony survives' camp.

  • Harris wasn't working OC anymore, which is partly why Tony seems to have warmed to him more than before over the later seasons. He's working counter terrorism, which seems to be soul destroying, very hard, and thankless. He personally dislikes Leotardo, who tried to set up a female friend and colleague of Harris to be raped and murdered (!), on the other hand he feels something of a raport with Tony - this all just merges to make Harris get involved as it becomes something 'we can win'.

  • Just rewatched the whole series boxset - I think you're right there isn't any credible, or obvious at least, person who'd want Tony dead at the end of the series. As you say New York made peace, Phil is dead, the others seemed scared of pushing things any further and even in scenes where Tony and his boys weren't about showed no sign of plotting to rat out the peace deal. I don't wholly agree with your take on Agent Harris's motivations for helping Tony though. - TBC

  • "the Mafia doesnt hire hitman"

Oh yeah? What about the "icepick" ? Making a movie about him this year.

  • Steve perry played the members only guy

  • This guy is a fuckwit. But the end is how you see it. I love it. & its my own thoughts. Thats whats great about it.

  • also saying that he would be "hit" by someone he knew is stupid, in season one (i think) two random black guys are hired to kill tony and make it look like a car jacking.

  • This guy is a fucking retard!

The hit on Tony was called off by the other families, but as said in previous episodes Phil Leotardo has about 200 family members, most being un made men. In the end Tony does get whacked, but as the hit was called off we have to asume its one of phils nephews on a vendetta. As to the other stuff this guy said about why the cop who is actually a federal agent tipped him off, he was a friend of Tony's who didnt want to see him get whacked.

  • The audience gets whacked. The blacked-out view is from the audiences perspective.

  • This guy hasnt a fucking clue what hes ona about

  • Tony"s life doesn't go on if u knew anyting about the mob u know that when u get hit u never see it coming. The black screen at the end means Tony is dead and that the guy who goes to the bathroom kills him.

  • Wow, just got to 2 minutes in and already this guy's opinion is losing credibility. First off with saying that the mob never uses outside hitmen. Does he not remember the heroin dealers that Chris payed for the Carmine hit (that was eventually called off) Also the "cop" who was actually a fed and he wasn't even investigating Tony anymore, he was assigned to counter-terrorism

  • Best and bravest ending of the best American TV series of all time. I could write 3 x A4 pages on why Tony 100% got shot at the end. Many of them have been mentioned in the comments on this video. Members only.

  • that was great!

  • Look dude tony got shot in the end i read a post from the cast saying he died... idiot.

  • Wow, this guy is so fucking dumb.

  • You are over anaylizing this

  • I thought the guy watching Meadow in the car could have been the Russian from the woods, or the neighbour who sold Tony his son's pathfinder..

  • This guy is a retard.

David Chase HIMSELF said Tony was killed in his interview with Richard Belzer. Take it up with the writer, LOL.

  • totally agree with this dude! tony didnt die, but what happend to Silvio? :) he died?

  • The whole series seemed to me a meditation on the transience of life and the certainty of death. When Tony blacked out, that was us blacking out with him. The last thing he saw was his daughter walking through the door--a final image to cling to. Remember, bullets travel faster than sound. He wouldn't have heard a thing. Also, recall Bobby's discussion on the boat about how it can all end instantly. They wouldn't have put that scene there for no reason. Sad though it may be, Tony clearly dies.

  • Dude the mob does hire other hitmen from time to time. The first time they tried to whack Tony it was 2 black guys remember?

  • Tony got whacked. Full stop. Hitman walks into bathroom - pays homage to Godfather. Mob often outsources hits, even in soprano's (black gangster dudes were often approached) - won't even hear it coming BANG instant black out. What we don't see is his family freaking out because his brains are all over the seat. In the end, Peresi wins.

  • Tony dies at the end. Remember the scene with Bobby on the boat when they were talking about what it would be like to die? It would be quick and then darkness. Also Tony's mum's advice to AJ was emphasized about how life was all a big nothing.

  • @tubelogin2006 i think the guy in a video that have a point life goes on for tony always being aware when his going to get killed is not like before and his waiting trial because of his crew member flip, that how the mob started to end by ppl flipping n going to jail

  • The scene on the boat was in episode 13 but when exactly ?? I couldn't find that statement

  • this guy can really sing. throw some auto-tune on it, he'll maybe sound as good as kesha

  • Michael:

Your analysis is incorrect. The mob will use outside guys at times to whack other guys. Ever hear of The Ice Man? HBO did a documentary on him 10 years ago,

he killed 20-30 people including made men as an outside contractor, and he

wasn't close to being Italian, or look at the Westies gang, this Irish gang

also has talent they loan out to the five families in NY when they need to whack a guy out. You're only half right, all that old mustache Pete stuff from the Godfather is long gone.

  • Dude I think you're over analysing it, I think it's an open ending in case they want to bring it back.

  • and the final score was??

  • The DVD BOX SET David Chase and some of the cast and he basically explain the ending and that we have been watching this family on tv for years and have watched them all grow up and grow older soooo why would you want to see this family get massacred before your eyes which is why he left it the way he did SO that being said THEY ALL DIE.... He just didn't wanna show them all get wacked. Also remember this line "You probably don't even hear it when it happens"-Bobby Bacala (SCREEN GOES BLACK) FIN

  • Remember the scene where Bobby and Tony were talking about death? How you don't hear the shot and stuff. And and scene where Silvio were in the restaurant when Jerry Tortuiano got shot. " The funny thing, i had no clue what was happening till after the shot ". And the show ends to sudden silence. It's not hard to guess what happened to Tony...

  • The "Man in Member's Only jacket" listed in the final credits is wearing the same jacket worn by Eugene Pontecorvo in the episode "Member's Only". In that episode, Tony would not allow Eugene to "retire" from the Mafia and take his family to Florida. Eugene ended up committing suicide because of this. Eugene's wife would have blamed Tony for the suicide. Therefore, I believe the assassin, wearing Eugene's jacket, is either a relative of Eugene's or was hired by Eugene's wife to kill Tony.

  • This guy is stupid. There's no rules in the mob anymore. No code of silence anymore. They all ratted eachother out.

  • well if tony dies it is like this guy in the video is saying they never touches the families of their enemies, so what iam saying if he dies they should make a movie about AJ Being made and all trying to hunt down the people who were responsible for the killing of his father

  • @pitbullpower90

Hm, AJ becoming the boss of a family.

    *thinks about it*

    HAHAHAH*brain asplodes*

  • @balkthor not the boss dude just a made guy hunting down those who killed his father if he died in the last scene ofc

  • @balkthor lol i believe the whole crew would get disbanded in like 2 days if AJ took over the family

  • fuck what u suck u dont know anything

  • Frankly, I think you're pretentious and that you're the one not paying attention. There's nothing in the entire series that suggests that Tony's life or both of his families just goes on as you say. After putting together such a complex story, I think D. Chase would be insulted if he heard your limited explanation. The ending is open to interpretation, and, furthermore, the series does not call for outside mafia sources to interpret it.

  • the black guys are the guys who shot at tony the first time.

  • meadow failed parking the car twice then succeeded on the third try. Tony had two attempts on his life, but they succeeded the third try.

  • My view the ending scene is a daydream of Tony's. If you watch the scene we never actually see Tony going to sit down. Carmella and Anthony then enter. However Meadow is outside parking the car. The scene ends just as Meadow enters the restaurant. In reality I think Tony is still at the front door scoping out the place and perhaps imagining what a hit on him would look like. I think Meadow then entered the restaurant spoke to her father and broke his daydream and ended the scene.

  • Butch DeConcini put a green-light on Tony Soprano after Phil's death.

  • what about that time when two black guys tried to kill Tony in hes car and T got away

  • No one got whacked! Jesus...idiots.

  • I don't think anybody or Tony got hurt in the ending. I have never seen them eating at that resturant before, so I don't see how something could have been planned for that night (unless it was at Arties resturant, but he doesnt go there no more). I think Tony will end up with prison time, because of the guy testifying (Carlo was it?) and one of the guys sitting in the corner of the resturant was seen in the earlier episodes, and suspected to be a rat, but never confirmed. Could be an fbi agent.

  • @Stefan773 I agree. I just finished watching the series a second time and that's the conclusion I've come to, that he gets arrested.

  • I think that shortly before Carmela enters the restaurant, one of her bodyguards hired by Tony enters. Even closer to each other, moving like a friendly team, A.J. and his bodyguard enters. The man may look suspicious from the counter, but he is actually friendly and worries about A.J. and the Sopranos. Then the killer of A.J. moves into position when A.J.’s bodyguard visits the men’s room. THE TWO BLACK GUYS KILLED A.J. ONE OF THEM IS THAT SOMALI GUY, WHO A.J. AND HIS FRINDS BEAT UP

  • the “black screen”, is for A.J. , you have to see life through the eyes of the person being killed. As the camera shows Tony, it cant be him. It has to be the person looking at him, and that is from this angle of view his son A.J. As Tony is still worried by possible reactions to the killing of Phil Leotardo, he had arranged for body guards to protect his family members. The peoples in the restaurant are body guards, but one is the killer.

  • This guy doesn't strike me as the worlds foremost authority on the mob. He IS however, a god awful singer. Stick with the sports reporting.

  • It's not accurate just after the 1 minute mark. There is plenty of reason to kill Tony in retaliation for Phil Leotardo or just during a turf war. The Mafia isn't a bee hive. It doesn't end when you kill you the queen. With people it makes more trouble. The death of the head honcho usually sparks off a massive struggle over the resulting power vaccuum. We've seen enough of that here in Melbourne Australia over the past 2 decades and even earlier during the painters & dockers crap of the 60s

  • this is the worst... he dies in the end.. it all goes black.. period

  • Uh yes they do hire hitmen. The black dudes that were hired to whack Tony were definitely not members of La Cosa Nostra.

  • You sir, Stick to sports.

  • You talk too much...

  • Honestly though I don't give a crap if Tony died. In fact I'm happy. Every chance he got he cheated on his wife even after they reconciled from getting divorced for the same reason his cheating problem, constantly pushed Christopher over the edge while he was dealing with his alcohol and drug problem, and even went as far as to kill Chris. He was a lowlife human being simple as that so I'm glad he got whacked. Bastard deserved it.

  • @xhollowbankaix Then the writer didn't do his job. His job was to show Tony as a selfish, evil, greedy sociopath but to make you love him anyway.

  • @ShayLee0501

lol well I've never heard of a person like that who ended up being loved by a million adoring fans. Sorry but it's hard for me to wrap my head around such a thing. Good explanation though prompted me to go back and watch a few episodes =)

  • @xhollowbankaix If it prompted u to watch again then that's awesome but I stick to the belief that:

a)- Tony was meant to be an evil sociopath that the audience was forced to love anyhow, and

b)- that Tony died at the moment the final scene cut (not faded, but quickly cut) to black at the end.

  • @goldieboylover986

Can you please link me to the article?

  • "That fucking mezzo finocchio!".

  • "The mob doesn't hire hitmen" - What about the moolies that were supposed to whack Carmine?

  • You are so fucking stupid.

  • What an idiot. Tony was killed. I can't even go into the numeroous references to the number 3 in the final episode that was part of Chris dream of 3 oclock but there were many. It was spelled out in many sublimanal references to 3 throughout the last episode. People. Wake up and get some insight and open your brains.

    HE IS DEAD

  • i reckon he died it sucks but i reckon he did =(

  • Anyone ever heard the expression "the silence before the storm"?Think about it and then think about the ending scene.

  • I think this video nailed it with the meaning of the song "Don't Stop Believing."

If the dude at the counter was there to clip T, he would have done it right away. If the black dudes were hired to clip T they would not have been preoccupied with what they were doing and would probably wait till T was outside.

    My take:

The series started with a troubled T and ended on a high note. No more panic attacks, kids are on pace to be happy and successful, and Carmela and T seem happy with each other,

  • @RIPEorROTTING The hitman @ the counter went to the bathroom so he could get a shot at Tony FROM BEHIND (no chance of the hitman getting killed that way) also, remember the way the last episodes kept referrencing Bobby's line 'you probably never hear it coming'? About no one being around to kill him, Tony ruined a ton of lives throughout the series. It could have been anyone. The final season also sets the viewer up to experience murder the way Phil's wife/Silvio did; with a slow reaction.

  • To the uploader/guy in video. You stupid fuck, Tony died.

  • Thanks for explaining the ending, I doubt it but i hope the sopranos return or at least a movie to cap it off once and for all.

  • TONY DIDN'T DIED THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK THAT MUST BE A LITLLE IGNORANT TO BEGIN WITH HE DIDN'T HAD PROBLEMS WITH ANY OTHER CREW EXECEPT PHIL LEOTARDO AND THAT WAS SOLVED AND THE OTHER THING NO ONES KNOWS BUT THE SOPRANOS WERE BASED ON THE DECAVALCANTE FAMILY THE 90'S JERSEY MOB TONY SOPRANO WHICH WAS BASED ON VINNIE OCEAN DIDN'Y DIED GOT BUSTED BY THE FEDS AND TURNED INTO A RAT I MEAN THIS WAS A PERFECT ENDING BECAUSE IT WOULD IT BEEN A WACKED ENDING IF HE WOULD IT GOT BUSTED IN THE SHOW

  • @elgrande1987 i think he died. the ending had a pattern with going back and forth between "bell rings. tony looks at the door" and then it shot to his POV, showing what came in. the 10 seconds of silence IS Tony's POV-shot, because he is dead and therefore cant see or hear anything. that explains why the music stopped. furthermore, remember the episode with Tony and Bobby fishing? i cant exactly remember the dialogue, but Tony told Bobby that you never see your own death coming

  • @elgrande1987 besides, Tony did have a lot of enemies. remember the russian Paulie and Chris got lost in the woods with? it was never explained wether or not he survived. either way, the russians would had figured it out sooner or later. i dont know if it really was them, but he did have a lot of enemies. plus, this series HAD to end with Tony's dead. or else, it wouldnt be the ending.

i can link you a long and very well explained analysis of the finale if you want it

  • @goldieboylover986 He didn't HAD to die. How come?

Didn't he simply survived everyone and, after the ending, just go on?

Not even the feds could surprise him, why would a hitman do so if he was as paranoic as the scenes show?

  • @44kzm yes, no one could surprise him, but still he got shot by his own demented uncle. tony wasnt perfect.

i feel it had to end with his death. it makes sense with the last 10 seconds being his POV, because he is dead and therefore can not hear or see anything.

  • You freaking kidding me?Little Carmine, could give the `go ahead` plus there are many families in the N.Y. as the movie script presents a few times.Or what? You believe all the honor crap?People that use simple brute force only for the `bottom line`,have their respect measured in $ or whatever, not in a person’s way to live.

  • Second,in the film they hired other people, outside the `family`.Ok,there are too many shi*s I would write, but I have question:What the heck you talking about? You studied all your life the mobsters from the papers, movies and PC games? You wanted to be a mobster?Your geeky bullied face says it.

  • ha u knob head

  • On google search "The sopranos ending" and click '

"The Sopranos: Definitive Explanation of The END"

There you can get all your answers.

  • oh Marone!

  • Great theory but still wrong. In mob life anything can happen and any agreement can be rescinded. Just because Phil is dead doesn't mean there aren't sympathizers out there who want Tony deceased. If life goes on for Tony the scene I presume would have slowly faded out instead of abruptly cutting to black, and the camera wouldn't have focused so heavily on the Man In Members Only jacket if he wasn't someone to look out for.

  • @NightmareKingz doesnt mean that tony dies they focus on the members only jacket to get your heart racing n the whole scene is to make u think he is and cut to black to leave it open for contraversy/options...tony was never a dumb guy he wouldnt of taken his family to that scrubby diner if he thought things were still unsafe for him

  • I think it was all to show that Tony will never be safe, he can expect death from everywhere unless he decide do dissapear.

  • This guy's theory is just great-except for one thing. Tony didn't just tick off connected guys, but a lot of "civilians", and relatives of civilians. Lots of people own guns, and lots of folks with guns may have just had too much and get pushed over that line. All it would take is one guy with a close friend or relative that got fired/crippled/killed by Tony or on his orders who went over the top and decided to put Tony into the obits.

  • I was under the impression that when Tony appears to reach for his gun at the end, focusing on someone coming through the front door, the guy that went into the bathroom was to shoot Tony from the side. Hard to speculate though.

  • sorry mate but your an idiot there would have been no time to get someone from italy that is besid the point, the death of Phil was only the day before and killing tony may have still been organized, also you cant really say how the mob works because where you in the mob? from the looks of you your no Pauli, and of course it would have been possible for one of those strangers to kill tony, remember when they the sopranos where going to take out a big shot in phil's crew?

  • @xXxRANGAxXx

well the 2 guys chris hired to do it where to random black guys...but then it was called off and they where killed, also if im not mistaken just when it cuts to black when the door bell sounds tony looks up in panic and also what looks like he is reaching for a gun, its an ok ending now ive noticed that but i think and ending like tony geting shot and everyone screaming and then a funeral scene with the camera panning out from tonys cofin, i think that would have been more epic...

  • Dude, unless if your not David Chase, do dont know jack shit about the ending.

  • Tony had in the midseason premiere episode "Soprano Home Movies" with his brother-in-law Bobby, in which Bobby comments on how suddenly and without sound death can happen in their lives as gangsters. When questioned on the theory, HBO spokesman Quentin Schaffer stated that the conversation is a "legitimate" hint. In a later radio interview, Chase was more specific about the ending and referred to scenes from "Stage 5" and "Soprano Home Movies" in relation to the ending. Use your head!

  • like 80% of the people who got killed on the show didn't even recognize their killers. This guys an idiot, and just can't accept the fact that Tony got his brains blown out.

  • explain why it cuts of at the end end you didnt even mention that

  • @3xplisit He did explain why it cuts at the end, and it's obvious.

  • .......

  • No. Nice thought, but no. The smash cut was meant to symbolize that the audience had been killed.

  • I AM SHOCKED BY HOW DUMB THIS GUY. I DIDN'T REALISE PEOPLE WATCHED SHOWS WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THEM AT ALL

  • And we could go on and on and on (like your precious song , which you are so off base on it makes me dizzy ) , but I feel like a goof for typin this much already , I never comment on vids , but You Fuckin drove me nuts with your "Theory" , in sumation....Get Real And Pay attention to television , or go watch a Seth "Hack"Farlame masterpiece . 1

  • Watch The Series Moron , Tonys almost killed by two african american guys right when he steps in for Corrado , carmine was all set up to be taken out by 2 guys Christopher hired and what about Phil at the gas station ,

  • All Your facts are wack man , you have no sense of cinematic history " The mob doesnt hire hit men" Or " Never Go back on there deals"

  • also, in the mafia family is not off limits. Tommaso Buscetta's wife and two of his sons were murdered. The New York family wouldnt have taken over the New Jersey family but they would have installed a boss who would cooperate with them (a puppet) from the New Jersey family. The fact is that most people in the mafia are murdered or die in jail. Theres a strong probability that Tony was killed without even seeing it coming

  • This guy is such a tool...i think hes not paying attention! first he needs to learn a little bit about the mob. People DO get killed in the mob even if they DONT know the people. do u think joe colombo knew those black gangsters who killed him. The mafia DOES hire hitmen to do most of the crimes in order ti distance themselves. Once u make a deal in the mob u never go back on it? deals r usually made so they can go back on them! ie. Salvatore Marranzano murder...this guys a wonderbread wop

  • ending would have been better if Meadow sat down with them, they got their drinks/food and sat there together as a big happy family. Camera zoomz out while everybody's having a good time as the music goes on. Screen fades out to black, the end. This would be a more explaining ending, would be a happier ending if Christoffer was still alive....

  • I personally don't believe that Tony died, although it certainly looks it. Tony's assassination was Phill's vendetta not any of his crew, with Phill gone, nobody else would have cared about Tony Soprano.

  • Don't stop believeing is not popular song? :D

  • @BaklivaX Only since it was on the Sopranos.

  • You never hear it when it happens! Thats what happened to Tony. The guy sitting at the bar looking at Tony is the hitman.

  • @schnajk U know what your probably right...i never thought about it that way....

  • @schnajk The guy sitting at the bar is Phil's nephew.

  • @SupWithThatGaming Okay, but i still think he killed Tony. It doesn`t go all black and silent unless you didn`t hear it when it happened hehe.

  • I think that Tony was. Expecting something to happen, because if u watched him closely in the last scene you will notice him reaching under the table everytime the door would open. Implying he had a weapon, but its still complex because there was really no reason to kill him anyway, and why would they whack him right in front of his family(wife&kids)! It was a stupid ending I wish they would make a movie about it and decide Tony's fate, suspense is killing me. Maybe David chase ran out of ideas

  • This guy says that you never hire hit men, but junior hired hit men to kill tony in season 1, and im sure tony uses hit men later. Also he says the mafia don't go back on deals, But tony goes back on a deal to kill carmine Senior. So clearly you don't know as much as you think you do.

The ending is up to the viewer to decide, they could have just gone on with their life, or tony got shot, and even if live does go on tony is going to go to prison on a rico charge.

  • @cameron83145

In my opinion much more arguments leaning towards that Tony got killed then that he survived gotta agree with u.

  • phil leotardo (boss) was killed in front of his grandkids....by someone he didnt know

  • the hit is off? so silly

  • I don't know, Tony looked kind of shook in the last scene WITH him.

But maybe the "killing dark" was OURS the audience's "death", and not his..

  • This dude is so funny with his bs mob knowledge. "Bosses don't get touched"? Tell that to Big Paul Castellano.

  • This is the absolute true explanation of what happened. I dont argue the theory that Tony was actually killed - it IS a most valid theory.

But the superior explanation for the screen going black is that it was going black only for us, this was the metaphorical death of the audience - not Tony Soprano. Things do go on and on for the Soprano family (and Tonys death would change nothing about that).

But the story stopped there right at the end, for all of us in the audience.

  • yea ur dumb.......the lights went off on set accidentally and Tony thought it would be a good idea just to call it quits........I love ya T but that was some straight bullshit

  • This guy; what a fucknut. Where does all your mob knowledge come from, TV? You say the cops never get the mobsters... tell that to John Gotti. Oh, and your sound is fucked up. This clip only plays on one channel (mono not stereo). Asshole.

  • TONY IS DEAD, DEFINETLY

  • there are no rules in the mob today. john gotti was a capo who killed gambino boss castellano and it was unsanctioned

  • stupid they made the end so that u can imagine self what happens its up to you if tony died or not

  • they hired black hit man all the time you stupid fuck

  • this guy give me a head ache. first one i had for years.

  • this fucking guy?? nah, FUCK THIS GUY

  • yes they do hire hit men , junior hired two black guys to kill tony , and tony and chris hired two black guys to wack carmine for johnny sack , and yes the end of the movie did imply that tony dies... you can find official soprano sites that even tell you , infact i just found one on facebook

  • @cwbeasy1987 really now?

  • @jamesturncoat naaaawwww !!!! i made it all up ........ smh

  • Ahh yes, all this information as fact he's got is obviously from his past experience in his organised crime life...

  • @cloudssix LOLLOLLOLLOL !!!

  • I feel 10% stupider after having watched this!

  • MOG killed Tony. Tony understands his life as a mob boss is "but a dream" when he trips on peyote in the desert. Kevin Finnerty is Tony's unconscious interpretation of who he REALLY is spiritually. Chase went out of his way to say that the Finnerty experience was NOT a dream. Those who understand the non-material nature of the universe and our illusory reality are the only ones who can bring "closure" to the series. We are Tony. Tony is us. He is a perfect reflection of the human condition.

  • The director said he died. He said, "it's probably like cutting to black". It was obviously the guy in the bathroom. Everyone else was innocently doing their own thing.

Overkill on the conjecture. wtf is all this about all this arbitrary shit.

  • WTF is this guy talking about?!?

  • Believe this fuckin guy ?(!) - Equivocatin like a motherfucker

  • Hello !

Just like sport, the Sopranos is completely made up, no-one will be coming from Italy, maybe Victoria Beckham, from Milano, with her new range of coctail dresses, but that's all.

    .

    See them at Barneys !

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • I guess John Gotti broke the rules when he took out Paul(Big Paulie) Castellano of the real life Gambino Family.John Gotti did not have permission to kill Paul Castellano. Also on the Sopranos Tony Soprano broke a lot of mob rules. One of which punhing Ralph Cifaretto after he beats his bada bing girlfriend to death and later strangling him to death in his own kitchen.Ralphie was a Capo.

  • i loved the part where tony comes back to fuck the shit out of coko or what ever his name was

  • This is exactly my feeling as well. While the final scene gives you suspense, theres nothing that could happen to Tony. At this point of time, he is untouchable. Otherwise a huge war would break out. Members only? Please, that guy and his family, everyone he knows would be tortured and dead. They wont knock of Tony without giving good reason. And there is none. The POV shot, the viewers got whacked from any future Storylines.
