What would improve it:

1. Cut out the damn gunfire audio clips in the middle of the song!! I think they're overly long, completely unnecessary, and ruin what would have otherwise been an orgasmically awesome track.

2. In Judas Iscariot's cover, the guitar solo at the end has better clarity. In this cover, the overly dominant drumbeats and fuzzy audio at the end get in the way of an awesome solo.

2. The riffs are finally given the prominence they deserve. Every other cover I've heard has overly dominant vocals like the original. This version is far more enjoyable to listen to.

What makes this cover better than the original:

1. The opening line "This is...war!" is done in black metal vocals instead of Varg Vikernes's shitty intro (which sounds too much like a deep-voiced Eric Cartman). Every fucking War cover should be done this way.

That was horrible. Didn't feel like black metal one bit. Simplicity is key and this sounded like it was trying too hard to be refined. Never tribute to Burzum, leave it to the one and only.

Scratch that... Nargaroth did an excellent job with Spell of Destruction. Those vocals were absolutely soul-shattering.

I'm kind of against the use of gunshots in the song. It kind of ruins the idea of Burzum for me. This song always makes me picture a medieval battle, not modern warfare.
