@MrsSander no widzę Agnieszka to celowałam, że w Polsce :) chociaż nie kojarzę, żeby u nas gdzieś Tinkery w rekreacji chodziły, to dalej raczej "egzotyczna" rasa... a szkoda, bo chętnie bym spróbowała ;)
I like your quiet seat, but I feel you might have too much stiffness in your back. You might try relaxing your back, bending your elbows a little more, and then your weight can sink more into your heels. That will stabilize you more, and improve your leg contact with the horse.
Hi, thanks for the nice comment. An answer to your question - yes, in this horse riding school we were ALWAYS using the side reins. I had a lot of riding lessons in 2 other schools and *almost always* we use some kind of help that makes the horse lower its head (I don't know the english names for those things but they work similar to side reins).
to jest w Polsce? :)

Hi. Nowadays I ride without side reins sometimes, sometimes with them. It also depends on the horse that I get in a riding school.
I live in Germany.
And thanks for the nice comment :)
