  • @LandRoverWay23

I'm with the mighty bling. The French and British did create MORE things than the Americans and were pioneers of the world.

PS u Americans r from the UK originally.

  • I wish I could have flown Concorde at least one time :(

  • ATC Tower: Concorde flight AF8832, you're cleared to land on runway 27L

Concorde: Roger that, ATC, 50ft till touch down

ATC Tower: Just to inform you, your mother in law is here.

    Concorde: SHIT! SHIT! ABORT LANDING!

  • PURE POWER!!!

  • bloody french cant even land a plane in a crosswind this is typical french cowardness

  • @torin312 First the Battle of Trafalgar and now this!

  • @CenaThemes but hey if the pilots were French, and they didn't fly a bomber, why would they ever need to drive McDonalds where it belongs? :}

  • .. In 1995 someone create Internet, then there are videoconferences, you can put all over the world, so is not so important to touch person your are talking ;-)))

  • 7.5 hrs to fly from London(Gatwick) to Boston(Logan) in 747 in 1999, add 35 mins to 2 hrs for pre-check-in time; most of which being spent in lounge getting drunk.

Now? Don't know. Won't lower myself to being treated as a 'potential terrorist' by American aircraft staff raking through my stuff, half-undressed, made to take off shoes, spoken to like shit just to fly on public transport to their hate-mongering, anti-freedom, 3rd world, debt-ridden cunt-ry!

What was the question again? LOL

  • Good decision

  • hmz Tell me your desires

  • It's so friggin cool when the pilot hits the gas for the go around.

  • A beautiful plane. Yes, you could fly from London to NY in around 3 hrs - if you were rich enough. The British and French governments poured fantastic quantities of public funds into this project. In the end, they had to give the few production versions to their national airlines, because nobody wanted to buy an expensive, noisy (banned from most airports) plane that had such a small payload. Although an elegant machine, it was not a commercial solution matching the needs of modern flying.

  • @Burbclaver Do research not claim knowledge. USA didnt want competition because they didnt have an equivalent. It was "urban mythed" that sonic booms caused illness etc to make people lobby it, but US fghters flew all the live long. Concord would have gone cheaper had it become the std. Its true what was said when Concorde was retired to museums with just 1 crash (No fault of concordes = scrap metal left on a runway), they said. "Go see Concord, the future shelved as the past"

  • @TheMightyBlighty no. the US didn't build one because they didn't have an equivalent, there were lots of reasons why US/Boeing scrapped their SST. LOL, "Do research no claim knowledge."

  • @Burbclaver The Concorde was *not* noisier than the other airliners of the time. Reference: "Flying Concorde, The Full Story" by Brian Calvert

  • also I do everything for your satisfaction

  • No have PAPI?.........................Oh God

  • @gregboyds how r europeans dumb?

  • Oh shit! Wrong Airport!

  • @CenaThemes you mean 'fly-thru' LOL

  • @CenaThemes If McDonald's food is better than this airport's food, it must be bloody awful I hate McDonald's.

  • "Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to be the first to welcome you to London Heathrow."

Pilot: "FUCK! wrong city again!! I am so grounded!"

  • @CenaThemes LOLL

  • well uk rules

  • 124 People hate jet noise.... pussies.

  • John..did you see that?..No Harry, what is iit?

Let me crank it around..look..down there!

    Damn..we almost stepped in it!

  • Why is there a wierd porn music at the end?

  • The power of rolls royce olympus 593.

    The most accurate aerodynamic design.

LHR to JFK in just 3 hours.

Breaking the sound barrier with people and luggage on board.

Doubtlessly, Concorde is the greatest achievement of mankind.

Concorde, sorry, but you came at the time when world was not ready for you!

    Let's pray - R.I.P

  • @TheHedgehogPilot Man, it's been like what, 30 years? And the world is still not ready. What a shame.

  • @marutidriver Concorde just eats too much fuel to be economical to operate.

  • @TheHedgehogPilot I would say that space shuttles are our greatest achievements.

  • That's what you get for operating into Leeds/Bradford. An airport without a single redeeming feature

  • @gregaperkin It must have one , like taking off!!

  • and yes son... in the 70´s and 80´s there was an aircraft can take you to NY to London in less than 3 hours...

and now daddy?... well in 2011 you need about 12 hours and plus 4 hours more to they check you´re not a potential hijacker...

  • @MarcoTUV

Lol, it does not take 12 hours from NY to London you dumb fuck. It's about 7-8 hours.

  • @CustomSS1 Try L.A. to London

  • @MarcoTUV

No need to time different places. The Boeing 747-400 will cruise at 0.90 mach ish and the concorde at about 2 mach. The concorde, like you said, is faster, no doubt. It will reach the destiontion twice as fast as an average long haul jetliner, not 4 times faster though :).

  • @MarcoTUV to be fair it takes no where near 12 hours to fly to new york these days

  • @Drenwickification True, nobody wants to go there.

  • The retards took it off service

  • @GOD

Yeah... I mean, a 34yr-old aircraft being retired after 27yrs of commercial service. What "retards" to do that!

    Grow up.

  • @ImmortalSynn Its more a case of the whole design of the aircraft, i.e. the MOST advanced commercial aircraft ever designed thus far being completely scrapped at the cost of the complete devolution of the airline industry.

Plus it was a beautiful thing to see in the air, no pilot can deny that.

  • 0:16 Maximum gas!!! Coool!!!!

  • I remember this! We lived very close to Leeds Bradford airport and it was a big deal at the time - the first landing of Concorde there. I remember the local news interviewing the pilot after the landing who said (in a very strong French accent) something along the lines of: "Where did that wind come from?" That'll be the Pennines, mate! I went to see Concorde parked up by the perimeter fence and couldn't beleive how SMALL it was! It looked so much bigger on TV!!

  • chandhok FTW

  • and that go around cost air france 10 million dollars lol

  • @taterfamine errr france don't use dollars they use euro's

  • @ctrlfruit this reminds me of that steve martin skit.

    "WELL EXCUUUUUUUSSSSSEEE MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Chicken!!

  • Looked like he was gonna land late if he continued to try.

  • that demonstrates concordes sheer power

  • You can't ground me if I don't land...

  • Best go around video ever, look at that thing climb....

  • Its like the carrier in MW2!

  • @MapleProduceX you mean harrier?

  • Hopefully we see one of this at the olympics as I think one of them is getting fixed for the event!

  • NOT TODAY MOTHERFUCKER

  • DRIFT!!!!!!!!!

  • I was there that day, I would have been about 12 yo or so, all very dramatic!!

  • Pilot was informed Jordan wanted his babies.

  • The pilot forgot to drop Justin Bieber over the Atlantic ocean.

  • pilot saw justin beiber at the airport

  • pilot goes down finds out theres a crosswind and goes AHH HELL NAHH

  • CONCORDE GOES AROUND.... LIKE A BOSS!!

  • Look at the windsock asshole. gonna kill everyone.

  • ich wollte dass der flieger abstürzt!!! :(

  • "Concorde Landing at leeds/Bradford," it was only then the pilot suddenly realised his Sat-Nav was buggered, and that it should have been Heathrow..... :..:

  • Comment removed

  • Damn it! Wrong airport

  • Flies away like a jet fighter

  • I know that had to cost a lot of fuel....

  • Miss!

    Where is a port?

  • You know these planes are much safer than conventional airliners. The only concorde that crashed was due to debris left on the runway that damaged the landing gear and left engine. Unfortunately many people found this incident to be a way to retire the concordes. Even today I find this plane ahead of its time

  • @Kulwicki

I agree with everything you said. but the debris left on the runway actually punctured one of the fuel tanks, hence the enormous fireball streaming out of the back of the plane. I think this then starved one engine bank of fuel and they stalled, preventing it from climbing and ultimately crashing. But yeah, it's a shame they retired such an amazing aircraft after one incident for which Concorde itself was not actually to blame for.

  • @levijonessheep it wasnt just for that incident. they thought of retired all the concord be4 the accident anyway.due to high maintainance cost and they could not get full seated concord.imagine if they did announce to make them stop opperating, then concord inceidnt would not even happend saddly. :((

  • @zigzigroll

What actually happened was that Airbus, who manufactured spare parts for the Concorde stated that they would only continue to do that if both Air France and British Airways kept their Concorde fleet in service.

Air France however decided to end their Concorde service because their customer base had lost confidence after that crash. British Airways were therefore forced to end Concorde flights too.

Although I agree that maintenance costs were an issue, it was not the main reason.

  • @levijonessheep yea i agree with that..its still sad but....thx for that info

  • @levijonessheep Concorde F-BTSC crashed due to negligence of Air France maintenance crew. Blame the French if you need anyone to blame for the loss of Concorde from the skies.

  • @Kulwicki Bull shite, do your research dweeb boy !

  • Love the dramatic music at the end...=0! Lol.

  • turbo mode in action?

  • Mini me put the "lazer" down!!!

  • Amazing!!!

  • Concords have NEVER crashed.

  • @BlueSubBlue watch?v=0-een7na2GU

  • @BlueSubBlue Are you joking? If you're not joking, then you're wrong.

  • we got them things when we land G4 stat EARLY

  • No, the pilot thought he was landing in England only to be told it had now gone to the dogs, and we all know why. Abort. Abort. This country really has gone to the dogs.

  • F*ck, wrong airport!!!!

  • Pilot: im flying Concorde.... screw the landing i wanna fly

  • driftin da plane thats super gangsta

  • A hot item outside the earth @ any docking station, a space pirate must have

  • @Allenburn

    I got 3 in colony wars 1,2,&3 on Ps1

  • magnificent fotage

  • nice take off and go around

  • wooow

  • I was on this flight, AF4887 from Paris CDG.....

  • @Poppinit905 =))

  • jebany

  • Pilot: prepare for touch... no, wait, lets make a drift.

  • Just pulling fulcrums down the stretch?

  • 'So you wanna land?'

'Nuh F*** it, lets do some Aerobatics!'

  • Fuck wrong airport!

  • How come you never see a British Airways Concord in a bad situation? I blame the French, they ruined the Concord franchise!!

  • @scrog77 The French were never as interested in concorde as the british,BA made a good treturn on concorde for many years, whilst the french could not make theirs pay BA took more pride in their fleet and it showed,it was indeed the French who ruined concorde sadly.

  • flying dutchman

  • I beg to differ on whether 'commercial aircraft' would have lack of power to abort a landing like this. Though Concorde makes it look spectacular and unbeatable, any of the heavies can do this when it's necessary. And....Concorde was 'commercial aircraft'.

  • 0:16 Total gas!!! Coool!!!!

  • Concorde had the power to lift up, like military aircraft.

Commercial aircraft would have crashed due to lack of power.

  • @Jyrki1964 shut the hell up dork.

  • almost there...almost there....ahhh fuck that.

  • Power ! Power ! Altitude ! Alttude ! PULL UP !! PULL UP !!

    FWABOOOOM!!

  • PUUSSAAAYYYYYYY

  • @AlphaRadeon

False, the French Concorde was only stopped during some modifications: replacement from the good year tires from 1969 with the Michelin radial space shuttle tires, and installing energy absorbing material in the tanks.

After this the French Concorde fly up to 2003 like the UK...

It was not the first time that a tire blow smash a fuel leak in the tanks: this was the Achilles heel from the Concorde This accident was caused by a titanium piece lost from another aircraft on the runway

  • id hate to get poked in the eye with one of those

  • SHE WILL RAISE AGAIN, HOOYAH!

  • Pilot was informed at the last second that his wife was waiting at the airport

  • @liekkis SHUT UP, Stupid!!!!

  • @liekkis im sorry but u made the funniest comment on youtube!hahhahaha!only because it made me imagine the pilot recieving that info rite wen it pulled away.u made my day!lol

  • @liekkis u should dubb a radio transmission of that conversation!

  • PUNCH IT

  • I fear that ones grass of bubbly may have just shot of the table. lol

  • its like a big kite :D

  • yeeeh we aint landing.

  • Pilot: hEy i see the runway

Co-Pilot: Ya I see it too

    Pilot: Are We Landing?

    Co-Pilot: Ya We Are!

    Pilot: OK

-talking takes long and look what happened at :18

Co-Pilot: RISE UP RISE UP RISE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did it ever land!?

  • @youchewube Its still flying to this day, every few hours they send up a refueling plane.

  • @DemonAMVs

LMAO. wish i could give u more thumbs up for that. hahaha

  • @DemonAMVs how do they feed the passengers?

  • @WhuBilly10 Cannibalism..

  • @DemonAMVs but what about the last guy left?

  • @WhuBilly10 He drinks the jet fuel.

  • @DemonAMVs how does he fly the plane and go to get the fuel to drink it?

  • @WhuBilly10 Autopilot dude. The majority of the flight the plane is in Autopilot, in some cases a plane can actually land by itself. Though that is only in ideal conditions and with the right equipment at the airport.

  • @DemonAMVs It is not flying today learn your facts.

  • @EpicPinapple Read the comment I am replying to "Did it ever land" I was being heavily sarcastic.

  • @EpicPinapple He was being "SARCASMIC" fucking derp

  • @EpicPinapple learn to recognise a joke

  • @DemonAMVs After that one crash they retired the concorde. No longer flying.

  • @Zackary747 My comment has nothing to do with that you moron. Read the original comment that I replied to it was. "Did it ever land!?" Not "Is it still used in aviation today" FFS get in context.

  • @Zackary747 after that one crash, they were grounded, but went back into service, but on one flight, a fuse went out and so it dident tell that they were out of gas, and they just made it to the airport with 2 mins to spare!

  • @DemonAMVs and passengers have develop the ability to perform photosynthesis.

  • @CYTL1960 Indeed.

  • @DemonAMVs wouldnt the pilot get bored and starve and fall asleep?

  • @theofficialstig My comment was a sarcastic reply to a stupid question.

  • @DemonAMVs twas but a joke

  • fucking amazing¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • UUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Wow, such a great Jet - cool video...

  • Sideways on, that plane just keeps flying as if it's enjoying the ride.

  • What a shame they didnt just fix the planes problems and flaws instead of binning the whole conchord project.

  • @branni79 given it's track record, do you want to be on that plane?

  • @minus37

difficult, they're not in service any more.....

  • @minus37 One crash in its entire service history yep i will take that concorde the most advanced regular passenger aircraft nothing today comes close.

  • @minus37 Would you have wanted to be on that plane?*

  • Co-Pilot : are you sure this is the right airport ?

    Pilot : ow shit !

  • @bellacolors that my friend, is called crosswind landing, you aim the nose the to the wind direction, because if you have crosswind and you aim straight to runway, the wind will push you away of it.

  • No guts, no glory!

  • @sradie its actually nuts...

  • i wonder how much money in fuel that go around costed the airline lol

  • @polak4lyf 7 to 10 thousand dollars aprox. ( talking about a jumbo jet, dunno about a this supersonic i guess it's more )

  • @AlphaRadeon

The airshow crash probably didn't help either ;)

  • Best top rated comments I've seen in a long time.

    Cracked me up

  • @ 130awe the concord did manage to be the first supersonic commercial plane. And peace to you!

  • @marilynspike

I thought the Tupalev TU-144 was the first.

  • is this real? the 130awe project doubts that concorde could fly supersonic.

    Peace to you

  • @130awe The 130awe project is mentally disabled if that is the case.

  • Person 1:Ya in Tokyo we drift cars!

Person 2 :Oh ya! Well we drift planes

    LOL

  • Oh wait, i left the milk at the other arport :3

  • It's that fucking Catalina Wine Mixer!!! POWWWWWW
