I own a Mac...and a PC that runs Windows and Linux. I'm a big geek when it comes to computers. I love my Mac, I use it the most...but the thing I hate the most is Mac users! I agree with your 3rd reason. People jizz their pants when Apple says "Iphone" It's a shame. But I also hate "PC fanboys" that call Mac Users "Dumbasses" or "fags" or whatever. I like the people who have brains rather than use a Mac or PC.
they upgrade all of their products to fast...... you get a product and a new one comes out the next week... they don't support older software as Microsoft does.... and even if it does, the products usually run sluggish, and the price, D:, they are horribly over priced.

1. They make the first version shitty and then add a camera to the next version and call it version 2 when they could have added a camera to the first version
2. They are not creative in anyway, they make a big ass product called an ipad which is just like a iPod then they make a fat ass product called a iPhone which is almost EXACTLY like a iPod but you can call and text

Let me put it this way-2 weeks with a mac and you will be hooked. It takes a little getting used to but the mac on a whole has given me a better user experience than any pc i have owned for the past 10 years. Why do they hate it? Probably cause you cant play many games on it or certain incompatibility issues. Then again, a simple boot camp installation of windows will solve all your problems. As for android, the only advantage it gives you is menu customization(for 13 y old kids) IOS>>android

Mac is a waste of money. I have the money for a Mac, but would NEVER buy one. Why ? They are not practical, and they can't run most of the software, and games I use "example : 3DS Max is Windows ONLY". So basically I would have to buy a Mac just to turn around , and install Windows on it that is going to cost me another 200 dollar. Seem like a waste of money to me. So I just paid over 1,000 dollars for an HP/PC that has better spec's than Mac, and runs all my software .
4th reason, I've been using Windows, Microsoft Office, other software, 2-button mouses, and I'm not going to pay more for something that's not going to be efficient for me.
5th reason, I'm a professional and my office uses PCs, so I want complete compatibility with others in the business world.

That's entirely your opinion, and differs depending on who you talk to. I can't stand OSX because it's so narrow-ended and forces me to do things the way Apple wants. By contrast, on a PC, I can set up my OS's any way I like with full customization options, no roadblocks, and no software compatibility issues. OSX might be easier for the average Joe, but it's a complete irritation for people like me that enjoy setting things up precisely as we want, with no interference.

Feel that I had been cheated on iPad two where they really push on graphic quality and processors which does fast graphics, unfortunately they had to put in a really bad like 0.7 mega pixel still camera to go with it , no wonder the graphic processing was so fast, it's the size and quality of the pictures.
I do not hate apple, but I sure think they are taking the consumer for a ride, making us think that their products are high quality, but just close people around me had so many problems with their apple products, I.e. iPhone with a malfunction mic, iPad with turning control problems. These are very uncommon in products like Nokia phones for example.
If you are little kid or teenager who likes to play computer games then go on...use PC...but that does not meant that mac is bullshit. Mac is just not made for gaming. @avenuePad I also have plenty of experience with Apple computers. My junior high, back in the late 80s/early 90s, had 2 labs filled with them (Apple IIs and Macintosh). I had DOS at home and I don't recall ever being wowed by Apple. It was more like, "oh, another computer. works different. meh". I have used OSX to do graphic design work and the only thing I got out of that experience was a confirmation that Windows7 runs CS5 better and more intuitively. There is nothing more annoying...

@Xephols crazymn321fan is right, depending on the hardware of course, windows 7 runs at low specs on a Mac based computer, because of the way Mac based machines deal with computer resources. Microsoft based machines allowing Windows 7 to run at full speed, allows you to run Mac OS also at full speed, but you require to tweak it a little bit, as it is not legal to run the software on a non-Mac based machine, but it is a reality, non the less.
@chapwilliams what valid arguments are they? my arguments about Mac computer based machines are that they don't serve the purpose that I require from a computer. I work with 3d rendering, and for that I require a potent hardware for the price that i'am prepare to give for it. I don't go for the looks, because I don't intend to attract the atention of anyone, I go for the hardware, because that helps me fills my desire of a great 3d model in the shortest time possible.

I've owned and used Windows pc's for years and every time mine broke down i had to send it away to get it fixed, pay some overpriced claim to be technician to fix it which in the end totaled the price i would have payed for a mac, then 2 years ago i bought a Macbook Pro for $1599 and never had a problem with it up until about 3 weeks ago when my charging port wore out and to my surprise i took it to Apple at 2 AM and received it 8 hours later that morning, Apples prices is totally worth it!
1. u don't have to use iTunes nor buy thru it- most of my music isn't bought thru itunes. I have plain ol' mp3s in there! Plus itunes store songs have been DRM free for years now.
2. Plug in a mouse with two buttons. Or, for laptop, set up two-finger tap clicking for right-click, its not for everyone but I myself find it better than split trackpad buttons on pc laptops.

Reasons why I dont like apple
1. They make the first version shitty and then add a camera to the next version and call it version 2 when they could have added a camera to the first version
2. They are not creative in anyway, they make a big ass product called an ipad which is just like a iPod then they make a fat ass product called a iPhone which is almost EXACTLY like a iPod but you can call and text

In fact Apple did not invent the GUI and the mouse.
They just bought the idea from Xerox P.A.R.C. ten years after it's been inventet and sold it to the masses.
And they were not the first that had Preemptive multitasking. That was the Amiga.
Today their OS is just a unix clone with a bloated GUI and some nice eyecandy that runs on overpriced PC hardware.
It's like Ferrari would sell a FIAT with a Ferrari steeringwheel,some horse logos on the rims and a FIAT motor for a Ferrari price.

One thing what I find sad is that every single one of their "Innovating" features are stolen from others, most of it are direct or butchered copies of Open Source stuff

Also it is hard to expand your computer specs like a windows computer or just a built computer because of all the so called patents "Crapple" is limited to the max extent. Spend less build a fast computer from scratch for half the price and if your budget is tight just install a Linux distro. (ITS FREE!!!!)

Let me put it this way-2 weeks with a mac and you will be hooked. It takes a little getting used to but the mac on a whole has given me a better user experience than any pc i have owned for the past 10 years. Why do they hate it? Probably cause you cant play many games on it or certain incompatibility issues. Then again, a simple boot camp installation of windows will solve all your problems. As for android, the only advantage it gives you is menu customization(for 13 y old kids) IOS>>android

Mac is a waste of money. I have the money for a Mac, but would NEVER buy one. Why ? They are not practical, and they can't run most of the software, and games I use "example : 3DS Max is Windows ONLY". So basically I would have to buy a Mac just to turn around , and install Windows on it that is going to cost me another 200 dollar. Seem like a waste of money to me. So I just paid over 1,000 dollars for an HP/PC that has better spec's than Mac, and runs all my software .

I have a 1 year old Dell XPS lap top. I can run Illustator, Photoshop, and InDesign(and more) at the same time with no problems. The only people who think Mac is better for graphic design are computer illiterate graphic designee. I can't even think of a time when i had a "stop responding" error.

That's entirely your opinion, and differs depending on who you talk to. I can't stand OSX because it's so narrow-ended and forces me to do things the way Apple wants. By contrast, on a PC, I can set up my OS's any way I like with full customization options, no roadblocks, and no software compatibility issues. OSX might be easier for the average Joe, but it's a complete irritation for people like me that enjoy setting things up precisely as we want, with no interference.

@avenuePad I also have plenty of experience with Apple computers. My junior high, back in the late 80s/early 90s, had 2 labs filled with them (Apple IIs and Macintosh). I had DOS at home and I don't recall ever being wowed by Apple. It was more like, "oh, another computer. works different. meh". I have used OSX to do graphic design work and the only thing I got out of that experience was a confirmation that Windows7 runs CS5 better and more intuitively. There is nothing more annoying...

@Xephols crazymn321fan is right, depending on the hardware of course, windows 7 runs at low specs on a Mac based computer, because of the way Mac based machines deal with computer resources. Microsoft based machines allowing Windows 7 to run at full speed, allows you to run Mac OS also at full speed, but you require to tweak it a little bit, as it is not legal to run the software on a non-Mac based machine, but it is a reality, non the less.

I work with 3d rendering, and for that I require a potent hardware for the price that i'am prepare to give for it. I don't go for the looks, because I don't intend to attract the atention of anyone, I go for the hardware, because that helps me fills my desire of a great 3d model in the shortest time possible.

Very true. Unfortunately, our Western society seems to have forgotten this fact. This is precisely why Nissan and Honda created the Infiniti and Acura brands for the Western market. Over here, all that matters is the dollar sign so you can keep up with your neighbor and show off to your friends and family. Over in Japan, it's all about what's under the hood, and getting what you pay for.
Mac is, in every sense of the word, a machine built on this premise.

Steve Jobs invented the PC? That's news to me, especially as several companies including Altair brought out PCs way before Apple was even a registered company.
Go check out Origin PCs, with superior hardware that Apple can't begin to touch, then check the price tags. If you can't afford those prices, then I'm sorry, but that's your fault.

@bravesnipz Cant afford a mac? All of my computers i have owned cost more than most macs probaly all of them but ive never really looked into macs because for the price there horrible. Anyone who wants a high end computer and knows what there talking about owns a pc, and that pc is usually only a couple hundred dollars more than an average priced mac. Everyone i know who actually knows alot about computers say macs kinda suck compared to pc's.

I've owned and used Windows pc's for years and every time mine broke down i had to send it away to get it fixed, pay some overpriced claim to be technician to fix it which in the end totaled the price i would have payed for a mac, then 2 years ago i bought a Macbook Pro for $1599 and never had a problem with it up until about 3 weeks ago when my charging port wore out and to my surprise i took it to Apple at 2 AM and received it 8 hours later that morning, Apples prices is totally worth it!

1. u don't have to use iTunes nor buy thru it- most of my music isn't bought thru itunes. I have plain ol' mp3s in there! Plus itunes store songs have been DRM free for years now.
2. Plug in a mouse with two buttons. Or, for laptop, set up two-finger tap clicking for right-click, its not for everyone but I myself find it better than split trackpad buttons on pc laptops.
most importantly; if u don't like it, don't buy it. Design, price, whatever; but don't blame flimsy reasons.
