1stly, you would have to read wayyy into it to see that since she didnt mention the economy even once in the vid. so that might not be it at all, even though its very plausible.
2nd, u and her both need to realise that there are ppl of all lifestyles and circumstances in America, And I can pretty much guarantee you that the ppl buying this stuff are well off enough that they are not the ones complainin about jobs and the econ. and the ones having a hard go of it, arent at this convention.

Firstly, no you would not have to read into this, the point she's trying to make is quite obvious. Yes there are people of all lifestyles, but when we talk about the economic crisis it's safe to say it affects everyone; rich or poor. When a country is billions and billions in debt it's not going to be your unemployed single-mothers who are going to struggle, even CEOs who are the head of big companies are going to see change in consumerism.
