And yes,that is included in copyright law,it's just that certain music companies tend to ignore that. That right there is what's getting ridiculous about it.

@obsessedwithhiei Yes there is such a thing as fair use, but there are guidelines. For example, if you write an online review of a book, it's not against copyright to re-print sections of the book in order to critique it. Most youtube videos that get taken down do not fall under those guidelines.

My only point is that I'm tired of people acting like the people who take down the videos (who own the rights to the material, not just anyone can file a complaint) have that right since it's theirs.
