  • Boy, this Figaro sure has sexy legs and a killer smile. Oh, and his singing isn't too shabby either. :). Bravo Furlanetto! The rest of the cast is great too--Allen in particular. Sublime music, fantastic scene.

  • Ma signore se in lui parla il vino!!!!

  • lovely production

  • Che meraviglia. Grazie.

  • I've seen this opera live, but it was so boring. Wish I had seen this production instead!

  • mozart era veamente un genio.....

  • È il finale più eccitante che Mozart abbia scritto! Assolutamente!

  • this scene is so full of pleasing delightful individual talent combined to amuse the whole person into the lively act. BRAVO

    Mozart the GREAT

  • this is one of my favorite scenes in diz opera..and the singers are awesome...mozart is probly the best opera writer ever!!!.

  • Mozart is not probly...but he is best opera writer forever!!!!!

  • I LOVE furlanetto, but I think I like him better as Leporello and Alfonso than figaro.. something about the tone? then again, I have very different basses- like ramey and releya- in my ear

  • i luv figaro..the best opera by mozart...2 me he is the best opera writer...he uses the music to depict the mood...FRIGGIN GENUIS

  • From the begining until the finale only opera is constantly 100% good, this is Mozart Zauber flute. My second favourit Opera is the Nozze di Figaro. Unfortunatelly I watched 4 Operas only live, but 2 favourit Mozart's Operas were among them.

  • i don't know how but this scene reminds me of "i promessi sposi" by alessandro manzoni...

  • What an ensemble! No single singer is leading the music, but all of them do. Only Mozart can make this. Absolutely one of the best music ever created in history.

  • You are right.

Great text (libretto of Lorenzo da Ponte),

    great music,

great action and efect in cena.

It enjois me as much as 30 yers ago.

  • Ferrucio Furlanetto is SOOO cute!! I saw him in Don Giovanni... *drool*

  • i agree with you fullheartedly ;)

  • Hahaha! One of the funniest scenes and everybody shines here!

Do you know if this is available on Amazon or somewhere? I'd love to own a copy!

  • sadly it's not available anywhere. :( i just have recorded it on vhs...

  • wow, look how into it upshaw is getting... really amazing acting all around. she and furlanetto are my favorite susanna and figaro, but te kanawa and hampson are better as the countess and count

  • Thomas Allen is my favrorite count. He's the perfect combination of charm and lech. And he sings pretty good too.:)

  • How did you get a copy of this broadcast?! I must get one!! I love Furlanetto!

  • A funny scene indeed....this opera is way better than Cosi Fan Tutte.

  • i just love this scene simply wunderfull could anyone post susanna or via sortite please or the final of act 4 contessa perdono?

  • wow, nice one; thanks a lot for posting! the sound quality is not the best but they are really good! what about some moree scenes with figaro?

  • I can barely hear the men.

  • Aaaaand you are my new favorite person. Thanks for posting this. I just love this part of the opera.

  • you're very welcome. I love this part, too. let me know if you want me to post anything else.

  • "Riconosci" would be wonderful, or "Cosa sento," or "Deh, vieni," or anything from Act IV for that matter. Thanks!

  • "Riconosci" is already there, if you can find it...
