you played that well but a little story real quick, there was a young lady named Tal, she played guitar just like you and now she is Jeff beck's bass player and one of the most influential bass players on the scene today. Try a bass guitar, you look meant to lay a groove.
Thanks, man! I been in love with the blues ever since I first heard on old Willie Dixon album when I was a kid. By the way, the Hagstrom Viking is a great deal in semi-hollowbody.
HI. I've recently became very interested in purchasing a Hagstrom viking guitar. From your experience can you tell me about any (if any) problems you've had from the guitar? Also do you think this guitar would last a lifetime? thanks, nice playin by the way
I think the guitar I purchased was a factory 2nd and it had some internal routing flaws in the centre block and the input jack was loose (which I tightened). Other than that, it is great guitar.
Thanks danielrl13! I would definitely recommend Hagstrom guitars, especially the Viking, which I have. The Viking, in my opinion, is much nicer than your basic Epiphone 335.
Plus, the necks on the Hagstrom guitars are super fast and quite thin. Great styling as well . . .
That Cream reunion DVD version of this song was so tight and right on the money..Man that Hagstrom is so nice Im seriously thinking selling my Gibson explorer to get one you think I should?
I don't think I'd sell the Gibson Explorer. If you really want a Viking, just save up for it. They can be had fairly inexpensively. Nothing wrong with an Explorer!
No, I am not a bassist. I taught myself to play guitar on a classical, nylon-stringed guitar. Much of the technique I developed, in the beginning, came from watching my uncle. He plays bass with his fingers. Thanks for the question.
hey thats pretty cool how you play classical style...I like how your playing the studio version...I play the live version using the low E as a voicing to support to head.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, my style is a cross between bass finger-style and classical technique. I would be interested in seeing how you play this live version of this song. How is it done? I guess I'll have to look it up on YouTube. Peace and Good Vibrations,
Yeah, I taught myself to play guitar on a classical guitar, learning stuff from my bass player uncle and my other guitar playing uncle. I can't use a pick very well. I might learn eventually . . . I also have to start using my other fingers more! Thanks.
stay at a guitar, dont change to bass. i think this bassy fingerstyle is awesome for guitars too! very unique and looks nice.

@dyingforastrat My uncle is a bass player. I love the bass, but I have small hands ... might have to get a short scale.
