@KlashaB12 no, it's a Punjabi folk song so technically it doesn't belong to either india or pakistan, folk songs are written a long time ago and passed down to the next generations, surinder kaur recorded it first i have her version as well.... musarrat nazir and noor jehan sang it in the 80s which made the song popular , this is just a remix version though ur right... and the singer's voice is just.... well can't really make any comments lol

Surinder Kaur did it first, followed by Musarrat Nazir and Noor Jehan.... Musarrat Nazir's version became a huge rage, Bally Sagoo did this version, with an awful singer might i add, in the 90s... n e way enough of that, bottom line is, you can't copy folk songs coz no one actually owns them

this is not a pakistani song, this was first sung by surinder kaur (the nightingale of punjab) and later popularized in pakistan by musarrat nazir, who by the way has one of the most elegant voices that both sides of the border have seen. She also popularized other of SK's songs like lathe di chadder, etc. I'm so ashamed that such a wonderful song sung by such legends was wasted on a video like this.
