  • Robert is a spokesman for all Boss products, so yes it's a a demo of Robert using Boss products... I don't know I'm just saying.

  • Nice

  • Sounds like they dropped a compressor over the backend of the signal. If you're going to smash your dynamic range, do it at the front end.

  • which is better... this or the stompboxes?? :S

  • i think line6 is better

  • NICE PLAY !!

  • Badass solos... HOWEVER!! Where's the demo part? haha Awesome jam tho...

  • That was...................unbelievable.

  • 26 People are stuck with Line 6 pedal boards.

  • Do the footswitches on the front labled 1 to 4 enable you to save a sound? Say if I wanted to program in a Page, Gilmour, Clapton, and Hendrix tone???????

  • I can't wait till a new me or gt comes out.

I'm not going to buy it but the demos are really cool.

  • @liamzuid yeah man but also is really difficult to get a nice tone like that... those demos are including other things that the boss doesnt have....

  • what sub catagory are you using

  • The dude is just fucking sick! And the pedal effects sound killer!

  • Ten koleś po prostu gra zajebiście, a efekt to niepotrzebna zabawka. Miałem, sprzedałem i kupiłem przester w kostce + kaczkę. pozdr

  • @DKxSLIPKNOTxDK

YUP, he definitely violated that gear...

  • I also play my Boss GT-10... but by Boss GT-10 I mean my dick

  • will this sound better through a tube amp or can u just use a solid state amp?

  • Just bought one today .. amazing and easy to use .. spent 20 min on manula for essentials and started .. gr8 stuff

  • The Boss GT-10 is a completely worthless piece of garbage.

  • @stephenkrause40 why is that man?? i was so down reading ur comment since i bought one today cost shit load money and it was fine better than my previous zoom GEP

  • @stephenkrause40 You are a completely worthless piece of garbage.

  • Now THAT'S what I call a demo. No fucking around with marketing stuff. Just play the shit.

  • When he kicks into playing with drum tracks etc. there is no explanation of how the backing track got onto the GT-10.

  • @jeudej My guess is he mixed it, shitty-titty.

  • OMG... awesome guitar player...! toca de la PTM..!! ... \m/ ...

ya casi junte para comprarme esa boss gt-10 i like this sound...!

  • you cant se a shit of what he's doing.

  • i just want to know if ZOOM g9.2tt or the BOSS GT10 is beater ?????????

  • @doom488899 The boss is WAY better!!!! If you got the budget get that BOSS!!!

  • @TheAnarchy4life well thanx man very much i bought one thanx again

  • @doom488899 congratulations!YOU WON'T REGRET IT

  • @TheAnarchy4life thanx man i will make a video on it

  • @doom488899 boss or zoom .... both multys are good.... but nothing compares to real tube amps.... play with multieffect for about 3 months without touching real amp.... and than play on tube amp .... you will see the difference what I am talking about ;)

  • @HendrixJimi85 While I dont totally disagree with you (I own two 100 wt. Carvin tube heads), the GT10, RP's, GNX's, etc. all have their place. For guys like me who play in a couple of different groups, and also do some studio time, the flexibility of the GT10 is awesome. I can go between two different gigs and maybe a studio session in the same day, without lugging around a head, cab, and a bag full of pedals and cords. guitar, and my GT10 Im ready to go.

  • @HendrixJimi85 Plus, while you and I may be able to tell the differences between an actual amp and the GT patches, 99 percent of anyone in the audience cant, and really couldnt care less.

  • @doom488899 The Zoom units are good, but from my experience, the GT-10 is hands down the better of the bunch.

  • I want this processor so badly..! But i need to save a LOT of money first !! :D

  • Damn it, Bob - you've got spider fingers!!

  • @iamaladycanyousaveme I have a Peavey 6505+ 112 that I bought last year, and a Boss GT-6 that I bought in 2004, and I can program the GT-6's 5150 amp model and make it sound identical to the 6505+ preamp section. So much so that I can't even tell which is which if I'm not looking at my rig. And that's with a processor that's 7 years old!

  • @iamaladycanyousaveme Ok, for that I trust you. This pedal seems to create over-produced effects, and Metal is not my genre, as you could have guessed. So I think I'm gonna buy the pod x3 as it is more an amp modeler than a multi-effect pedal, and it is better to do rock music I think. Thanks for your advices.

  • Not really a demo of the GT-10 as much as a demo of Marcello's talent. He could make a stomp box or another lesser quality unit sound just as good.

  • @nelcatjar I'd rather see this guy demo gear, or even Rob Chappers, than guys like the Tone King and other lesser guitar players. Why? The Tone King can only tell you what a Ferrari will do. This guy will SHOW YOU.

  • @josephjester - I totally agree with you. I like the best of the best demoing gear. But Robert could make any pedal look good. Here is demoing the ME-70 pedal and makes is sound just as awesome, because he is such a great musician. youtube.com/watch?v=CjD0EkFJjRU

  • @iamaladycanyousaveme Yes, in a way you're absolutely right. And I agree with you about this pedal, but still, what is wrong, or incomplete, is that if you hear to Radiohead or Muse, you have a great exemple of sounds very worked that doesn't ONLY use a DS-2 but a lot of psyche effects or synth effects, a lot of different cabinets and amps.

  • that is probably the most awesoime pedal I have ever heard

  • why the demos are always metal music ? Why no cool rock ?

  • @allehelgen Finally! Somebody noticed! thank youuuuu! I thought it was just me who didn't like to hear metal all the time in the demos! :-|

  • @Sevendogtags Yep. So, I have no idea on the capabilities of this pedal for rock stuff or rock effects... Thank you so much for the "demos" ! By the way, "demos" mean : exploring the capacity of the pedal, not playing like a dumbass always the same style of music.

  • @allehelgen exactly!!

  • @allehelgen Hey, I found a channel all about GT-10! everything about GT-10! It's perfect! I'm gonna buy it. if you want to check it out search this on youtube: "bossgtten"

    Good luck ;)

  • @Sevendogtags That's very nice of you ! Thanks a lot mate ! I'm gonna check it out.

  • @allehelgen No problem ;)

  • Haha! The guys in the background are like WTF?!?!?!

  • does this have a sound gate?

  • iam realy down with my playing at the moment, watching this guy makes me feel like a loser.i mean i practise hard a lot , how do they do it??????

  • @strabbs1 A compressor pedal!

  • @strabbs1 They practice.

  • Wow! this guy is really SICK!!!

  • si con esa pedalera se toca asi jeje yo la quiero.

  • @unoqueestabalibre WII UN AMIGO LA TIENE Y DICE Q ES COMO TENER UN FERRARI JEJE YO ME COMPRARE LA BOSS ME 30 xD

  • this guy is sick!

  • is this a demo of the GT-10 or of Robert Marcello?

  • @fabianwolswijk I think it's a demo of Robert Marcello.

  • GT10 rules!!

  • GT-10 or GT-8 ?

  • @WeslieJJ94 GT-10

  • Visit my website for BOSS GT-10 patches for Van Halen, Steve Vai, U2, Dire Straits, Eric Johnson Cliffs Of Dover, Boston, Bryan Adams Summer Of 69, ACDC. More coming. Visit my website JamesLimborg.c om and click the BOSS GT-10 PATCHES link at the bottom.

  • robbert marcello its hair look like crap but he playes pritty good dont you think only he hasnt the same in his sound that john petruci have he hasnt got that much feeling

  • you are not hearing the pure sound of this pedalboard through this video. You cant judge by that. Go play it in ur local store and then buy it if u like :)

  • pena o custo da GT-10 ser 10 mil reais...

  • is that a specific song or is he improvisin? great playin though

  • this guy was awesome

  • what guitar is he using?

  • Comment removed

  • wow this multi rocks!!!! i probablly gonna get one in about a couple of weeks :P

its nice to see that a processor such as this can almost replace stomps and processors worth 5000$ and more...

  • @jingeshan24 try the pod x3 live =)

  • I love this guy :)

  • this vodeo isn't new!

  • que amplificador usas? saludos

  • @JUANKA2909 no se

  • I want one... I shall have one.

  • dude, i got the ME-70 and our lead guitarist gots the GT-10 and we 2 together rock like hell ;D

  • The Greatest Guitarists Alive:

    1.Buckethead

    2.Steve Vai

    3.Kirk Hammett

    4.Robert Marcello

    5.Zakk Wylde!!

  • @Canizarezqw you forgot one. paul gilbert

  • this guy rocks huge monkey balls

  • Klingt eigentlich mindestens genau so lahm und matschig wie mein Pod.

  • There are genres other than metal. A Guitar Rig demo buy a guitarist playing for the band Air is the only one I've seen where some metal god isn't doing the demo.

  • Why does every multi-effect processor have to have 500 metal/distortion presets?

  • @dotsunmoon why more metal effects? because unlike you not everyone wants to sound like D.Matthews. Why more metal effects? More people listen to metal, more people play metal, more people get off on metal. So go get your stratocaster and plug into a clean amp. For my money, I will take tons of gain and feedback. Now go listen to your Al Di Meola

  • @jamesdewer Thanks for the insightful explanation as to why every effect combo is centered around distortion. I did not realize how mainstream metal is. I have no idea who Di Meola is. Long live Buckethead! Slayer or die!!!!!

  • Gt-10 is probably the best MEffects pedal ever!

  • @UltimateGuitarist17 to me, that would be ME-70 ^^

  • when are they coming out with a newer one? I don't want to buy this and find out a month later that there is a GT-11 or 12

  • @edwardtang1977 I want to know that too...

  • how long the loop is?

  • @kartman74usa 38 seconds

  • is it user friendly? i dont think so...

  • im kinda confused i dnt know if i should buy a gt-10 or a pod x3 live, i play lots of metal, stuff like hatebreed and lamb of god

  • Can anyone tell me how to come up with the setting at 4:28? It sounds like a pre-delay/delay with a chorus effect. Is that right or are there other effects needed?

    Thanks!

  • i have the boss gt 10, but i cant really find a sound like his, my amp is a marshal 15 watt

  • @Sigelious The Marshall 15 watt really disables good use of a pedal like that. Additionally, you can't copy a sound without actually using the same guitar, or something extremely similar.

  • Love that lick at 2:30. Smiles

  • kai ayti opws kai oles oi petalieres einai gia ton poutso!!!!!!!!!!!! psifiakoura!

  • I just know that if a buy this pedal i will still sound like crap. It's in my hands. Every guitar i touch is doomed to sound like crap

  • Just have a nice Guitar, a Stack (preferably and Valve) or even a Valve Combo like a Valveking 212. Get nice leads and good strings and you make it sound awesome! I got mine 2 days ago and it sounds awesome, so pleased with it!

    My Gear:

    Epiphone Les Paul Ebony Custom

    Peavey Valveking 212

    Boss GT-10

    Whirlwind Lead x2

    Pretty awesome stuff!

  • elien guitar i also have a jc 120! and im also thinking in buying a gt 10 ,but dont know yet if getting a X3 live instead

  • Is my hair good???XD

  • holy shitttttttttt why are we not fonding this :0

  • how does this pedal compare to an anolouge one?

  • This unit or a Pod X3 Live? Anyone get a chance to play both? I am testing an X3 Live for a guy and think it's really good.

  • @meatbundle I've owned the GT-10 for about 2 weeks. I'm plugged into a Roland JC120. I 'm amazed @ the tone is amazing. This weekend I'll do a recording so you can see some of the sounds you can get with it.

  • @meatbundle I havent 'tested' an x3 but from what Ive heard the x3 dosent have a harmonizer pitch shifter etc? I dont know what do you think. Also Its plastic on the base? right Im pretty heavy and worried about the stability of the switches but the gt-10 is very strudy. (just my 2 cents :P I guess its down to taste

  • Thanks. I'm stiull testing one, plus I bought one on ebay. Have an older floor pad and it's been ok. Not super flexible live. The X3 has much deeper editing and you can add a fuzz to your amp model easy enough. In my rock bands I use regular pedals, but the pod stuff works for other gigs and recording pretty well. Have not put my foot through it yet so the plastic must be pretty durable.

  • hey man yeh i tried the x3 live, and the newest digitech multi effects unit, still got on better with this boss gt10, i found it has even more precision when creating tones u can make pretty much any tone, it's well worth the dosh :)

  • oh god i love that guy))

  • "as you can judge by my hair" lol

  • Reminds me a lot of Satriani's "Back to Shalla-Bal" off of the Flying in a Blue Dream album.

  • lol

  • ok, i need help...I'm new into this world of guitar pedals, multi effects, etc...I have an behringer v-tone gmx210 modelling amp and a boss gt-10...I don't know if the boss gt 10 goes to the back or the front of the amp...I don't want to damage it plugging it wrong...

  • @adriangel143 Just read the manual. It tells you different configurations for plugging into different amps.

  • Who cares where the track comes from, the matter here is to see the GT-10 working...

  • Wasn't that the soundtrack to Top Gun? :) Or wait, maybe it was the score from one of those driving video games from '89??? How about posting something relevant and how it can be used in today's musical landscape? I get so tired of watching these six-string masturbation videos. Great player, don't get me wrong, I admire the discipline and dedication it requires to get to this level of ability, but all the Boss videos seem to be a jerk-fest for some castaway from the L.A circuit scene.

  • "six-string masturbation videos"

    Hilarious!!!

  • I was so impressed I bought one myself. LOL I was trying to compare this GT-10 to the Digitech RP-1000 and the Zoom g9.2tt but decided on the Boss GT-10 instead. Maybe I was blazed at the time but I tested it in the Music store and tried it out with a Fender Strat. I loved it so I decided to buy it. LOL

  • I want this shit thing so much! i got crazy

  • this guy is awesome and funny , thanks for all goods demostration , really the best guitar player

  • Yeah a good guitarist. Too bad it's all the same old stuff that's been before and it doesn't show the versatility on tone/effects for this unit. It would have been a much better video if he would have done more actual demonstrating and explaining of the features. Who cares if you can shred...thousands of us out there and nobody listens to that now a days especially most of the people buying this pedal. I guess I'll get the real answers from the manual.

  • Im not impressed completely

  • easy tone my ass

  • yeah, i like the boss me50

  • lol this guy sniffs so much coke!!!!

  • great pedal highly recommended.

  • he is so ridiculously amazing...

  • shit i just bought this thing i didnt know it was famouse....

  • Robert Marcello is a guitar god, fucking awesome playing. The guy is playing his ass off and the audience just look bored, fucking muppets. I still think the effects processor sounds like a toy but Robert does a great job on this video, fucking genius. The only thing I don't get is that he always sounds out of tune on his videos?? Wish I had a quarter of his talent, he is just too good.

  • They're not bored, they're just standing there in absolute shock of how incredible his playing is.

  • Relax man... Some people don't have the money to buy a good valve amp and a couple good stomps (like me)... So we need that multiprocessors!!!

  • sounds like the fucking top gun soundtrack... i thought this was almost 2010

  • Please!!! Don't compare this sh*t to Steve Stevens's and H. Faltermeyer's masterpiece. Please.

  • ok but you could totally fly some jets to this.. in the 80's

  • LOL!!!

  • Hey guyz my name is wajahat...please help..I have a gt-10 and I want to make the phaser as a surround sound effect so actually moves when set up live..I wanna do this on stage so plz help plz plz plz plz what ever equipment that can help me achieve this please post plz plz plz

  • Nice idea:)

  • you need to connect the gt-10's left and right outputs to two seperate amps. then select a phaser for fx-1 and select a pan effect for fx-2. i have a gt8 so it should work the same

  • thats fucking sweet i wanna play that goood! , any one got tabs for it?

  • I have a Boss me 70 and i'm thinking of replacing it with a

    gt-10..

    Any thoughts?

I really like the me 70, is the gt-10 a lot better than the me 70 or would i just waste my cash? the gt-10 seems a lot better for recording since it has got a USB input thingy. correct?

  • I've got the 10......and im not sure if there is anything it "wont" do except play the guitar for ya!!! May take me 2 years to get all out of it that it has to offer!

  • that guy has some great chops!

    best effect for 1989 music!

"it's in 80's metal right now, i like that, as you can judge by my hair" ;-D

  • not open to the public, I wonder if the track was produced befor the show? lots of breaks.

  • Sounds like joe satch+yngwie malsmteen

Hard Rock instrumental + Neoclasico metal

  • is namm always in california?

  • Marcello kicks satriani's ass oall over the place

  • agreed, i dont realy like him

  • your easily amused !!!!!!!!!

  • Bastardsofdecent92, Robert Marcello is one of the cleanest guitar players ever. Stop nit picking on a guitarist who obviously shits all over you when it comes to guitar.

  • some pieces sounds like he's playing a nintendo... so frickin fast ! Amazing !

  • I got one the other day and it was the best decision i ever made in playing guitar.

  • Yo haters... Who's BOSS paying to demo this unit at NAMM? 3 guesses and YOU ain't one of them. While Robert's at NAMM demoing new gear (and quite probably getting more ass than a toilet seat) you're sitting in your bedroom at your mommy's house spankin' porn and practicing your "sweeps". Big deal. Either you're gigging or you're whipping. Robert's gigging. And you're doing what???

  • What do you mean by sloppy guitar playing????

    He is aweesome!!!!

  • Wow, seriously? maybe he didn't warm up, maybe it's a bad day for guitar for him, I mean it looks like he just woke up. I'm not sure what problem you have with chromaticism, many of the best guitarists do it. The intro isn't played over any chords, so it sounds cool. I've just never seen somebody so anal over something like this. He's not trying out for best guitarist ever, he's just screwing around, having fun, and showing us the gt-10.

  • I appreciate that, and chromatic stuff can fit sometimes, but as this video shows...not always lol :P, but fair dos, he may not have warmed up, and I wasn't intending to judge his guitar playing, all I wanted to see was some clean metal rhythms and leads of the GT- 10 so I can hear what it sounded like...however, except for the Wah part (which admittedly rocked! :P) all I've got from this video is what the GT- 10 sounds like when played sloppily...sorry, that's just my opinion :/

  • DUDE.. you must be retarted, this is played CLEAN

  • go buy an rp-50 clearly you dont deserve a GT-10 if thats what you think

  • hahaha, you make me laugh just reading that!
