@AnotherWob Good luck with that-8% of wisconsin workers are union.I am sure the voters will side with selfish union members who make up to 3x as much as they do but are unwilling to contribute 1.5% to their own healthcare benefits. You sir,are part of the problem. Please get out of the way, grown folks is trying to fix shit.
YouTube allows an upload to be used as a video comment on just a SINGLE posting. So please search YouTube for “Introduction to Teaching 101.mpeg”. Don’t know how much of my taxes are going to study public education, but Washington could save a LOT on consultant fees by just reading the responses to my above upload from hard pressed teachers from around the country. Teachers KNOW what is wrong with American education – career and politically motivated administrators do not.
@1293drive My wife is an educator. Please encourage your people to watch The Lottery-if it doesn't break your heart, you aren't the kind of HUMAN BEING our country desperately needs.Regardless of political affiliation, until we make the educational machine actually focus on the consumer, the children, and not the unions, teachers or administrative ladder climbers,we will continue to fail generation after generation.
The Internet is being used to revolutionize societies. Tell your Congressman to rewrite the “Employee Freedom of Choice Act” so it uses the Internet to allow workers to request and conduct union votes DIRECTLY with the NLRB. Truly secret votes where employers can’t identify and fire organizers. Force employers to bargain with unions 30 days after a successful vote. Bring in an arbitrator 30 days later if no contract is in place. In 2012 VOTE for Obama, House & Senate majorities and pass it!
THERE IS NO “FAIR” WAGE FOR TEACHERS. The closest we can come is that wage structure produced from negotiations between a strong teachers union and a powerful government body. Pitting a SINGLE employee against a powerful state government or a multi-national corporation is laughingly unfair. Only through COLLECTIVE bargaining between these entities can something approaching a “fair” wage be reached.
@UltimateZC Make sure to turn the volume up a little louder and you should be able to. The only word I have a hard time hearing is "Dictator" that comes after him calling Scott Walker a Tyrant.
