  • Has Kazu and TaoFTW ever fought?

  • Most likely not...why? Kazu is a japanese arcade player, TaoFTW is an American arcade/online player.

  • strong SOVIET damage!

  • I'm enjoying this vid. two-fold because of the actual match and the arguement that those two people are in saying that either Zang. is noob friendly or Tager is for experienced players...

Just remember that Zangief has so many functional normals that are so versatile and effective because while his spd is strong on frames and priority its power is not anywhere near as powerful as Tager's, since Tager can follow up after most of his throws.

Both are grapplers but are not the same creature.

  • kazu makes all his fight's look like combo videos' xD

  • it's the only way Tao's can do damage XD

  • b ut i will also say giving that street fighter is a ground game .. it is more so in gief's favor as a grappler ... but Tager does have more tools to bring his opponet's to him as opposed to gief ... but other than that .. i personally think with gief you can be a bit more competitve at high levels...

like evo this year in hdr . there was 4 to 5 gief players..... now in sf4 there was like 3 i or 4 good ones ... but at sbo this year only one tager qualified .. i mean the number s the numbers

  • continue:

His green had has the ability if timed right to almost beat every move in the game except hurrican kicks because it's off the ground and lp dragon punches . His 2 mp is one of the best anti airs in the game. His Lariat's speaks for itself... damn near beat's everything except a few normals such as .. sagat 5hk, ryu 2hk, and chun li's j.hp .. .so with all these tools you can't really say tager is better . good try though because i have played both games and iam now into bb

  • Well that was kind of my point to begin with. 'Gief is good, but easy to play at low to mid levels and is pretty much a cockblock to most of the cast. The entire game changes for him.

Tager is a high skill, advanced character with many weaknesses. My point was to win with Tager is to be an amazing grappler player, while to win with Gief' is to basically enjoy the mistake of your enemy and pummel him for it.

An easy, one dimensional character compared to Tager.

  • Well, another thing you have to remember there are two different games .. Tager i would say does require more skill to play with then the average tager i will agree with you upon that ... but i will also so... tager's damage makes up for it .... while gief's damage is the strongest in sf it' also the same for tager in bb

  • Continue:

which is a set bar that he can only use once it filled. Has no anti airs to my knowledge and command throw has really bad range and can easily be tech out of . overall his damage is what makes up for it ... other than that tager can't touch gief

    NOw for Gief sf4

His 5 lp,2lp , 5 mp,2mp. 1 hk, are some of the best normals in the game. His spd range is insane lp, mp, and hp all have 2 frame start up's and can combo into them if you know the timing.

    his ex-green hand

  • I LOVE TAOKAKA! she's insane in the air!!

  • @ 8:04 kazu does a pointless fancy looking combo when he could've done more damage.

  • Aye.

I feel like he does that a little too often.

While he is out of control amazing with Tao, I don't think it would hurt to simplify his combos and maximize his damage.

    S'a lot of showboatin'.

  • That last match was INTENSE

During the 2nd Round of Bang v. Jin, I was hoping for some Bang Install manliness

  • i love how tager can hit someone like, 4 times and KO them with it

  • Especially in games like these, major grappling moves are so rare, it's just all skill.

Tager landing huge throws in this game are ALWAYS epic.

  • seriously...

unfortunately, I'm absolutely awful at getting the throws off, even with the magnetism :-(

  • Unlike Zangief which is a no skill, Lariat Spamming baffoon, Tager requires some mad skills.

Before hitting me with thumbs down, look at 'Gief's tier in SF4 vs Tagers.

Tager players have to work for their wins.

  • Gief in SF4 maybe, he's not easy to use otherwise.

  • At high level play, Gief has to work like a mother fucker to get in. He's just better equipped to get in on his opponent in SF4 than Tager is in BB.

  • exactly my point.... gief is noob friendly at low levels of play but at high levels of play everyone knows to keep gief out and do the bare minimum so, every plays the poke game with gief . Try to get in on a turtling akuma player in sf4 hard as shyt.... you get thumbs up for that

  • dude are you a complete idiot or what ... gief requires no skill...

apparently your the dumb ass is falling for the scrubby ass tactics so guess what.. that makes you a fucking scrub....

tier list don't mean shit but at the same time .. you have to take them in some sort of consideration picking your character.

gief in sf4 is a beast but he's hard to play with at high levels of play.. have you not seen ed ma vs justin wong at evo or Istabashi(gief) vs Momochi(akuma).

    dumb ass

  • Dude, no offense but one fight at Evo does not = the hundreds going on as you read this. I know this won't change your perspective, but your perspective is a limited one.

Where "high level play" is somehow supposed to apply to 90% of the fighting game populace, which is a small one compared to other competetive games mind you.

Not saying you're wrong, but that it's very inapplicable in comparison to Blazblue which at low OR high level play Tager is a much more skillful grappler than Zangief.

  • Truly i respect your opinion

but you can't really compare the two but if you did move for move ... then dependly on which gief your talking about but sf4 gief has to be the best( my personal opinion and mines alone)

Tager, slow, has very few poke normals with good distance if not none . Tager can magnatize you but that's really mean anything to some one who plays keep away... His body mass and structure alone is also a weakness. He has to charge his projectile which is a set bar

  • So? Your point is?

  • what is with the one sided audio.. its killing my ear

  • kazu is definately awesome. i had written off taokaka as a notsogood character until i saw this

  • 5:16 is full of win.

  • Taokakas drive has to be one of the greatest mix up tools ever.

Not only is this taokaka the best I've seen he is using the only cool alternate color imo.

  • What a Fierce Taokaka.!

  • That is one freaking awesome Taokaka.

No wonder though; Kazu's among the greatest GG tourney players in the world.

Jam and Tao are pretty much alike too, from what I've heard (haven't tried Tao).

  • Its not the same kazu of gg. the jam kazu plays rachel from what ive heard.

  • awesome matches. thanks for uploading!
