theres probably many flaws to this idea but still the government should channel alot of thier time into reducing knife crime and locking down on it 100% and thinking of ways to combat it effectively.
perhaps one way to reduce knife crime is you know you were talking about kinves should be used for craftsmenship well permits should be purchased to carry knives and a valid reason should be placed on that permit as to why you use that knife and if you haven't got a permit then you should be arrested on the spot however the only downfall to this idea is that not everyone can be searched for a knife all the time coz it would waste so much police time.. i totally disagree with knife crime...
hi, 1st. stop touching your head and try stringing a sentence together, also stop going off the subject at hand. look knife crime is real fucked up, even me who is a right crazy fucker can not get my head around why a person wants to put a knife in another person, it simply blows my mind. to cut a long story short a friend of mine was killed 4 years ago by a guy with a knif it was real nasty shit, he was stabbed 8 times mostly in the neck, he had zero chance and died within 2 minutes. sick. RIP
this makes no sense. government cannot stop crime, cops are called after the fact, you keep saying 'knife crime' what about 'baseball bat crime' both kill, what about death by poison? fact is 'knife crime' is just the catch phrase of the day, it came right after 'gun crime' after the knives are gone, I cant wait to see what the next catch phrase is.. the focus should be on self defense. A violent crime has to have a 'victim' why not focus on preventing a 'victim'?
Yes but you thought that John Mccain was black Will. lol No really - there are two main ways that knife and gun crime can be DECREASED. You can never repress human nature to the point where violence is gone, but you can, in my opinion, reduce the violence by harsher systems of punishment, and prephaps the stronger one, that family becomes the strongest focus of the gaovernment - groom families, mainly children and teenagers, into seeing that knife crime is wrong and can be decreased.
also i suppose you can use a knife to scare them away other wise u will just get stabbed ursef by the gang members , but thats my saying , and i fully respect ur views :)

But i was wondering about it today becuase me and my girlfriend were on out way to the local cinema and a gang of lads ran at us but went straight past screaming , and she has epilepsy and wont be able to defend her self...
There is the issue that you carry one because you know your face danger, but that you can be arrested for carrying it.
Thats a problem. Medical issues arn't normally taken into account with knife crime - something you've considered.
The entire punishment system should mean that all who carry knifes should be arrested. Thats the only way I think you could combat knife crime in the short term. Family life and child up bringing is the long term issue I think.

You have a few good point , i live in cheshire
