    /watch?v=0H_rNcU9leQ

  • Uhmmm, yah this looks unnatural as shit, the pupil is tinted

  • good tutorial. keep up the good work sir.

  • i rely like these vids because they are so easy to follow. the fact im new to photoshop also, helps my computer and any other nearby object getting hurt when it wont do what i want

    XD

  • could not complete the Hue/Saturation command because selected area is empty?????

  • make sure you're working on the right layer. I mean check the channel column ;)

  • Thanks for the information!

  • omg that is a cute kid haha

  • Hey i have a slight problem... When i take a black and white image, the hue and saturation button isnt available .. what do i do??

  • go to IMAGE - MODE - and uncheck GRAYSCALE

  • great!!

  • omg tnx!this really helped me!

  • could u do that on Adobe Phototshop Elements 6 ??

  • yup! XD

  • Great tutorial, but for some reason, the eye color won't change for my black and white picture even after I clicked colorize. :(

  • hey great tutral cheers but after u have dragged the ruler lines how do u get rid of the lines ??

  • Drag them back to the edge... Just like real life, Finished with the ruler, Put it away again.. ;)

  • thank you thank you

  • How do you remove the blue lines, the rulers?

  • View > Rulers.

  • This just removes the rulers, not the blue lines!

  • View > Show > Guides. Sorry.

  • Ah, lovely. Thank you Howard!!

PS: Your videos are great :)

  • what do you do when you go on hue ans sat but then it goes could not co,complete because hue/saturation command cuz selected area is empty..;s

  • Make sure you're on the layer that contains the eye.

  • One thing i would like to add onto this is using the Hue/Saturation layer. it is in the layers tab, and is the button with the circle that is half white and half black. there you can then keep it a layer, and go back to it whenever you need to. Alt click inbetween the two layers to make it linked together, so it will only affect that layer. to make the "selection" stay the same, whatever is white in the layer will be affected, and what ever is black will not be affected.

  • This is very well done! I've learned a lot today! Thank you for posting! Five stars!

  • @hujiri: to cut out shapes like half circles like the other eye you take the "polygon-lasso", press "alt" and cut away the covered part of the eye...

  • wow...jotil man [ cool]

  • what about the other eye? it's not "circle"

  • i tried this but it only changes the colour of the pupil..

  • w8...disregard that last comment :P

  • yes...how do you do what horseshack said? like...invert your selection from the eye to the whole pic.

  • If you have a color photograph, and you want to make everything black and white, except for an item/subject or two, how is this done? Thanks.

  • You could try desaturating it?

  • I want to do that too! Desaturating would make the whole thing black & white but how would you block out one thing and keep that one thing in color?

  • Nice tutorial, Good teaching!

  • oh?!you're online!hehehe...i'm always reviewing all your vids.they're great!I just need to give it more time.

  • You're such an inspiration! Thanks for all your tutorials!Keep 'em up!

  • Thank you.

  • amen to that

  • nvm my question

  • how do you turn the picture black and white

  • Image > Adjustments > Desaturate

  • wow. nice video. thanks! =D 5/5

  • how do you get rid of the rulers when you put them on?

  • CTRL (or Command) ; Or View > Guides

  • Your videos are nice,

    they really help me out

  • I wish I had learned this way. Instead I did it the hard ass way lol. This is SO much simpler and with like an hour less of my time to accomplish the same thing. Thanks = )

  • what a cool vidio and so useful!1

  • Glad it helped. Thanks for watching.

  • NICE VID MAN

  • Thank you.

  • That's wonderful.

Though I have a question. How would you leave the pupil out?

  • Use the same Elliptical Marquee tool, but when dragging out the selection of the pupil, hold Alt. It will subtract the pupil.

  • I actually learn a lot from you. Thanks, beefcake.

  • You're welcome, Meatloaf.
