Madonna has shown her pop star pupils like Britney, Gaga, Rihanna etc.you can't be a pop star without gainning physical quality to handle intensive 2-hour perfomrnace on stage every day. Being pop stars need more works than rock or country stars since they can't just stand there and sing. Madonna's concerts are highly energetic and physical - singing and dancing. Britney can't dance anymore, Gaga passed out on stage

actually madonna does sometimes lip sync...at least she used to ...maybe she stopped when elton dissed her for it. in fact she at one time sung the song live in front of no audience!! recorded that!! and then replayed it at her concert for that live feel!! i am convinced!! however she chooses to do it i just love her!!
