@utash321 actually it wasn't that Iran was called Persia in the west, before 1936 Iran was called Persia, however Reza Shah in that year changed the name from Persia to Iran. Most people still just like to use the name Persia or refer to themselves as Persian; it's the same thing anyway.

@utash321 actually it wasn't that Iran was called Persia in the west, before 1936 Iran was called Persia, however Reza Shah in that year changed the name from Persia to Iran. Most people still just like to use the name Persia or refer to themselves as Persian; it's the same thing anyway.

@zairt You still are. There's persians like that in my school too. Not religious ones but immigrants, and everyone gets annoyed of them, even I do. But it sucks for people like me and other persians who aren't like that all. I've seen annoying types of all races but I'm not going to generalize a whole population of them.
