While I'm at least still at work in London, I'm massively overtaxed, paying out the arse for trains to get into work (to fund the games) and the trains themselves rarely run on time, so I'm at constant risk of being fired! Freedom of speech is great. However, it must be used responisibly. Rushdie will have known what was to happen. He was disrespuctful and also caused many many needless deaths around the world thanks to his book. I think that reason alone is enough to hate him. He didn't agree with the way Islam worked, wich is fine. But he chose to ridicule it instead of documenting what he thought was wrong. I am not muslim, but understand what Yusuf Islam means.
