I remember in the video from brain fear gone the first part before omars section said something like following the crowd will only get you behind the crowd. and a man who goes on own will find himself being places on his own. I dont need it word for word. But why follow everybody style? I thought skaters were different. Why do we need to dress like each other?
Are you talking about them wearing clothes that fit? Have you ever thought that maybe they aren't copying each other, but rather growing up. You can't be 23 years old and walk around in baggy clothes without feeling like an idiot.

Hell, my girlfriend doesnt wear pants that tight lol. my jeans fit fine arent baggy but they arent stingy and hugging my nuts and ass like those jeans either. You have to let your nuts breath a little. Its just not right for guys to walk around like women. And it affects their skating. So what gives?
The whole reason behind being a skater isn't to be an individual, there is no 'whole reason'. Everybody has different reasons and views on this and tht is yours.
Also not so long ago, everybody was wearing super baggy trousers, fashions and trends change, but if you have looked in a rollerblading magazine or watched a whole skate video recently you would realise not everybody dresses like this. I'm surprised you didn't realise considering you said you didn't wear jeans like these.
i dont have any rollerblading magazines. Do they still make those? I know when im watching the videos i see tight jeans and lame tricks. I see haffey farmer and broskow doing tricks they have been doing since they were 13. Chris is the worst to me. And i never followed those trends. I followed my own style, did what i wanted to do. Skated like i wanted to skate. Good or bad. Its me. And if the trend changed, i didnt. And no, everybody wasnt wearing baggy pants. Trent T wasnt, micah y wasnt.
