  • Where is 3rd mvt perfavore?

  • Almost certain to make me cry everytime. So magical. So beautiful.

  • my creys. Thought room anyone?

  • 3 people are deaf.

  • @chikodelportiko Beethoven was deaf too...

  • @thedavidcarney Not his entire life though...

  • Reminds me of the original Resident Evil game, where you had to play this on the piano to open up the secret panel in the smoking room.

  • @bluenose193 Resident Evil sent me here.

  • This is genius.. And I'm more of a thrash metal guy.

  • Amazing to think that this guy was deaf...

  • @kirtoan

He wasn't always deaf. He eventually lost his hearing. But yes, still amazing that he could compose and hear the music in his head even without hearing.

  • Beethoven has always been a inspiration for me as a violinist :)

  • FINALLY!!! I FOUND THE SONG I WANTED TO HEAR!!! :D

  • I love to play and listen to the song so beautiful

  • just beautiful

  • why cant i hear it so well

  • Worm?

  • If this song doesn't fill you with pure emotion your not human. Ludwig van was a genius... period

  • This piece is so simple and clean. No hiding, its what it is.Amazing how the right keys pressed at the right time with the right touch can transport you so far away.

  • just fills you entirely with an undescribabale emotion.simply beautiful :)

  • words are not enough to express the beauty and the power of this piece of art. it literally transport you out of your body and to the deepest part of your soul. Amazing!!!!!!!!! Moonlight Sonata

  • watch?v=796jkaAHmx4&feature=autoplay&list=AVGxdCwVVULXd-vhO7-VkSAoK6suIr7088&index=3&playnext=3

playlist of 100 for him... 3 in a row the same song. UGH

  • can you lower the volume please?

  • songs dont need to be hard-to-play and insanely fast to achieve the title "masterpiece"

  • i love this song looking for everywhere sorry my bad english but THANKS A LOT

  • i wanted to post something to express how much i like this piece only i cant find words good enough to do it

  • I disliked this song lol but I lovr it

  • fucking love this

  • I hate how anyone can record it and just claim the song as their own. Why can't you just leave your name off the CD and let the writer get all the credit. It's not like you get more then 20 dollars recording piano music that isn't your own.

  • Beautiful. Each one is a masterpiece. So relaxing, calming and peaceful.

  • 1 pesron is deaf. And cannot enjoy this beautiful music. I can also play this ;)

  • @rigoxxyz It must've been Beethoven

  • @EliasJordan3 I highly doubt Beethoven would squander any classical musical masterpieces such as this.

  • Thugmcnasty.

  • I love how there is only ONE dislike.

  • @AlexD19931 Yeah and that person was probably just doing it because he though he was being funny... -_-

  • This is my absolute FAVORITE key signature. It says something to me, somehow.

  • How about f sharp minor or a flat minor

  • @TheNikecrazy123 That's not the one. The music of The Corpse Bride was entirely written for that movie.

  • now do the 3rd movement in c sharp minor.

  • possibly the greatest piece of music ever, am i right in thinking this is a solo piano? im not exactl versed in knowledge of classical music, but id like too

  • Each and every one of these notes speaks directly to my soul and tells a story words never could.

  • My 6 year old daughter heard this and said "That sounds sad"

  • if you believe that a voice is an instrument, songs and sonatas are the same...

    beautiful!

  • perfect music no wonder it was used for the first resident evil game love this sonato it was also used in film revolver with jason statham

  • who ever disliked this is deaf..

  • @Slutzika even the deaf would appreciate this..lol

  • @missminniemeow haha true!..who ever dislikes this is simply just ignorant(: haha

  • @Slutzika even the deaf would appreciate this..lol

  • this is my all time favorite piece. the genius of beethoven can't be denied when you hear the pure emotions coursing through each note.

  • do you ever wonder if people 200 years ago loved it as much as people today

  • @1Cocknose1 Probobly, that's why it's stuck around so long

  • @1Cocknose1 It was probably something only 1% of the population in the germany area heard.

  • @1Cocknose1 im not wondering, all becomes colder and colder....:-(

  • @1Cocknose1 well there are some now and I think they're much better off with their music choices

  • Pure beauty frozen in time.

  • Love it! It is so beautiful!

  • This completely describes my mood nowadays ~

  • this is not a song. read the title. its a piano sonata. there's a difference. a major one.

  • @Giblinono

A song is a song man. It's all music

Music is the power to emote and take you somewhere else.

It matters not if it's a sonata or a song. Fact is, its beautifully moving.

  • @Giblinono Well of course it's not a song, it can only be classed as a song if somebody is singing.

  • @Omfgwhtavid exactly. It annoys me to no end people that don't understand that there are other types of musical compositions other than the song which dominates pop culture today.

  • If iTunes were around back then, this song would have been #1, and a smash hit, in 1801.

  • ......... i have no words

  • perfect song

  • Damn I love this!

  • i agree with Yams416. this song is magical.

  • I love that Beethoven thought this was one his more boring pieces and couldn't understand its popularity.

  • i love it xD

  • I love playing this song. Very Beautiful piece.

  • not really into classical but love this peice of music

  • Magical.

  • @Yams416 I knew somebody we all used to call "Yams"... Lol. Great nickname. And yes, very magical piece of work... Definitely my favorite Beethoven. It gives that very haunting "end of the story" feeling.
