  • I thoroughly enjoyed watching the video. My second ever flight was in an Anson with the same paint scheme as this one - on 4th November 1950! May I suggest that you try changing the "frame rate" as suggested by "fokkerwokker". I would also suggest that any flying footage is always filmed using manual focus - result - no "hunting" and all of your precious footage will be in focus.

  • @rgnvideo Glad you enjoyed the video and it brought back a few memories for you! Its a lovely aircraft, it was the first time I'd seen one flying. Many thanks for the filming tips. I filmed most of the footage here with a stills camera that has a video function, so sadly can't change the frame rate on it.I'll give the manul focus filming a try though!

  • Nicely captured!

I believe that if you vary the 'frame speed' it prevents the props 'slowing down'.

  • @fokkerwokker Thanks for your comments and the tip about the frame rate! Will have a look on my camera to see if I can alter the frame speed to stop that effect happening. I took another one of the Anson landing in a fairly strong crosswind so I'll try and upload that this week.
